Cooking with charcoal is now stylish and functional with this dual chamber, stainless Dyna-Glo charcoal grill. The removable steel firebox divider allows for expanding or dividing the cooking space depending on the amount and type of food and total number of people. The two charcoal trays adjust separately to provide flexibility with cooking temperature when different foods require different temperatures at the same time. The lid and front firebox are double-walled to minimize heat loss and improve the burn efficiency of charcoal. The high capacity ash pan is removable for quick and easy clean-up.

    Junk

I had to ship both grills I received. The first one was dented on the top, one of the welded nut broke off and the warming rack was unusable. The second one had a big gap in the back where the hood and base did not meet up. Save yourself the trouble and pass this one by

    Great Grill, minor things.

Quality of construction is my only hold up on this product. This grill is really stout, and easy to put together. My 12 year old and I put it together in a short amount of time. I've already used it a few times, and have found it to have a very easy heating pattern, and the porcelain grates are a great touch. While assembling the grill, I noticed that the lid is slightly askew, and doesn't line up with the main body of the grill. It's not really a functionality thing as much as an aesthetic for me. The warming rack is the second problem. To remove the center divider you have to remove the stands from the side of the base for the warming rack to have enough room. Lastly I only realized after arrival that there are no accessory hooks for my grilling utensils. Again, not a big deal, and something that could possibly be easily fixed with some slight modifications.

Thin sheet metal. Not very sturdy for price.

This Dyna-Glo Dual Zone Charcoal Grill is a very good design. The problem is, they made it from Very Thin sheet metal. I can definitely see it burning through, after just a year or two. The draft doors and the chimney are nowhere near being air tight, so controlling the heat at lower levels (for low & slow cooking) would be nearly impossible. The lid has a noticeable gap in the rear, between it and the firebox. This will make for considerable air intrusion, as well. The lid, when opened, depends on small tabs, bent out on the hinges, to support it's entire weight. This particular design is Very Flimsy. It puts all of the stress from the weight of the lid on the hinges themselves. This is Certain to cause premature failure of the hinges, which will render the whole grill Absolutely Useless. I paid what I consider to be Full Price for mine, at $400.00. This is NOT a $400.00 grill. It would probably be a decent value for $200.00, At Best. If you're looking for a decent grill, in the $350.00 to $450.00 price range, Stay Away From This One!!

    Assembly Easy, fit ok

Assembly was easy and only took me an hour, one person. The directions were clear and easy to read and understand. I did not have any help to place the fire box on the wheel assembly but would suggest using a second person as the fire box is a little large. I would suggest using a form of loctite on all screws so that they don't loosen on you later on in use. The unpacking is what took the longest but you will be glad as there were no damaged parts, but you will have a mess to clean up when you are done. Fit? had one screw hole that was miss aligned during assembly and ended up needing to replace the screw because I could not get enough clearance to get screw started properly thus cross threading it. Not a big deal just replaced the screw. Overall; looks well made and will see how well it holds up over time, so for now I would say buy one if you prefer using charcoal and not gas to cook outdoors. Two cooking boxes (divided) will allow for different heats using the adjustable coal baskets allowing for better control of cooking.

Little disappointed because this was a gift.

it was missing the smoke stack piece and the thermometer. the charcoal trays were also sticky and rusted. And one tray was bent.
