This game has many amazing aspects. You can weave in and out of zombies or stick to the rooftops to avoid them. Parkour is pretty sweet with this. I really wanted to like this game, I really did.
However, combat is absolutely horrific. The guy is supposed to be highly skilled and trained, but for a VERY long time it's as though your frail grandma is out there swinging a baseball bat at these zombies. in fact, my character has died countless times because he gets fatigued by hitting a single zombie in the head with a pipe (it takes 5-10 good hits, and many more if you aren't getting them in the head).
Careful about progressing in the story too (doing what the game tells you to do). If you aren't taking the HUGE amount of time training your character and ignoring the game's commands, you can easily find yourself in a world far too dangerous for you. "Volatiles" that are angry zombies that run AND do parkour chasing you, to the acid spitting ones with extreme precision and the goliath ones that have an insane anount of health and can kill you in 2 hits. The world itself gets increasingly harder, not just your missions. Worst of all is that if you die during a large battle, all of the zombies (mini bosses and bosses too) are ALL revived, you lose points AND any weapons or items you used during that fight. So even if you killed the bosses and a stupid regular zombie catches you by surprise, well now you have to start the fight all over again but with a major disadvantage.
Ranged weapons are a lifesaver, but why bother if pure gaming skill is pretty much useless? Also, in some cases you have to sacrifice health kits for a good ranged weapon, so make your decision. It's a game of sneak up on zombies and hit them a few times then hide on a rooftop till your stamina replenishes. Repeat this process about 25-50x for each fight and you are good to go....if you're lucky.
