Like this product for the softness it creates with each wash. Do not find that the clothes keep their smell after drying, especially towels. Have not been able to smell the lavender on towels, although, w/o fabric softener, I find that they don't have a fresh clean smell.

You cannot go wrong with Downy. It is the ONLY fabric softener on the market that does everything it says it does in the ads. You can fold laundry, put it in the drawer, pull it out a month later and it still smells amazing.
