Customer has been confirmed to have purchased the item from Walmart.

The bed we received had a manufacturing defect as a section of the rail holes did not aligned and could not be connection via the hardware. It was too much trouble to return and wait for another so we fixed using two metal hose hose clamps.

I was expecting it to be shoddy but I am really shocked there are even locking caps to keep the metal bars in place and its very sturdy. I bought this for my son 6 and daughter 3 and they climb all over it if I like it or not and are really rough on it yet no scratches and not so much as a wobble from it. My husband and I put it together in about 2hrs mostly because you need two people to hold it and screw the screws in. Althought it does not come apart into twin beds its just awesome as a bunk bed. I bought it in white and it is very clean and bright looking. It came with all the parts, nothing was bent or scratched and it was packed very well and all the bolts were already sorted and clearly marked. I am really shocked that it is so nice. The price is ok for the value but I think all bunkbeds are over priced. The ladder really does not stick out that far and it makes it easier for sleepy children climb up with out falling off. Again really happy with these and shocked at it being such good quality.

I called customer service at dorel to get a replacement bedrail for the top bunk due to ours breaking. we have had these beds for over 2 years now. I didnt save the info on it after a year. So when i called they asked me a model number which i had from walmart.com but then they proceeded to asked me the manufactoring number which is on the manual which i no longer have. they told me i couldnt get any parts till i knew my manufactors number cause there is over 12 manuals for these types of beds. well what happens if you dont have it you cant get any replacement parts. so everyone save the manual till it is no longer readable basically. the person on the phone said everything i needed was on the warning label. rest assure its not. i torn my kids bed up looking for it so they is their mistake cause it should be there. Over all the bed is great. I havent had problems with it except for the ladder falling off cause the screws becoming loose after a while but its an easy fix.

I recently purchased two sets of bunk beds the black set for my boys and the white set for my daughters. I was surprised at first when the beds were delivered because the box was very narrow but everything was in there. After taking all the pieces out of the box my 10 year old daughter and I put them together. I was surprised at how easy it was to assemble. All tools necessary for putting the beds together are included along with detailed instructions. The actual height of the bunk beds (61") is shorter then other bunk beds we have owned but works nicely in the kids bedroom. The beds seem very sturdy and the kids love them! I would definitely recommend these bunk beds to friends. If your looking for inexpensive but sturdy bunk beds then these are the ones for you.

We've been using the bunk beds for about three weeks and are very pleased. The bed is stable and has a lot of room between the bottom bunk and the top. A 16 year old who is 5'10 and weighs about 160 sleeps on the bottom and a 7 year old who weighs about 50 pounds sleeps on the top bunk. I would buy this bed again.

    • A. You need to get bunkie boards to go under the mattresses because you cannot use box spring on this. It makes i too high. You also cannot just you a mattress because it needs stability underneath, but you can use a regular mattress on it.
