I love the Dixie products; they always remind me of my grandma because she would always buy Dixie brand. I received the Dixie Everyday Paper Plates in the 6 7/8 inch size. These are your dessert size plates. These plates are thick and have a cute design. To try the plate I microwaved a piece of lasagna on it. It did not leak, and the plate is a great size for one person. The size of package is nice also; instead of 48 plates the package has 50. I also like that these are the everyday line. To me everyday means everyday. Sometimes you have to search around and find the right plate for you. I think with the everyday line you don't have to search around because they can be used for every purpose.

Like I said before these are your dessert plate size, but you could use them for anything that you wanted to. Desserts, Snacks, Sandwiches, and so on. The package is clearly marked everyday and the size and quantity is easily labeled. I also like that these plates match. That is nice if you wanted matching dinnerware. I like that the product is made in the United States.

Great Product!

I wanted these paper plates because they are strong enough to hold heavier foods and do not leak. I use the smaller ones (6-7/8 inch) for things like snacks while watching TV, sandwiches, and also to feed my cats their wet food. I like to mix their canned food with water so that they are getting a little more water in their diet and these plates work just perfect. I don’t have to worry about any leaks. And I love that there is no cleanup. Just toss in the garbage and you are finished. This package of plates has 50 in the package. And, the color I received has a purple/violet floral design that is very pretty. I’ve made the mistake of getting the cheaper paper plates trying to save money, but in the long run, I have more clean ups and have to use more plates. I have also bought the foam plates thinking they are a little stronger, but they are no match for Dixie brand paper plates. I also like the multiple colors to choose from – not just a boring white plate. It just makes sense to keep these plates on hand, especially for nights you don’t want to wash dishes after a snack or meal.

Sturdy And Microwavable Dixie Brand Paper Plates

I prefer this size over the larger plates and have found various uses for them. Great for heating leftovers, pizza slices, sandwiches and cake because they don't absorb food and weaken the plate. I found less food is wasted when used for serving with buffets or casseroles. I don't need to buy different sizes - one size works for anything. This is especially true when used at parties, picnics or other occasions where children and adults are present.

Strong and sturdy

These smaller plates are a great size for a small meal, a snack or for dessert. We have also used then when we cut up some fruit to share. They are sturdy and do not flop around when there is food on them. The colors are fun for Spring too. I am looking forward to buying these again because they are so handy when we want a small serving of something.

Great for lunch or dessert

I have used many brands and kinds of paper plates and these plates completely beat out every other brand in durability, strength, thickness and their ability to not leak. They are smaller like the size of dessert plates but hold a sandwich and chips easily, as well as several pieces of pizza.
Every time I took a plate I tried to pull it apart because it was so thick it felt like there had to be two plates stuck together, but that was not at all the case, they are just that thick. I was confidently able to carry them with food on them from one room to another without the plate collapsing. Now that I have tried them I will absolutely purchase them in the future and I highly recommend them.

Strongest Plates Ever!

Dixie paper plates are a brand that I always use. Unlike other paper plates that are thin, bend when you pick them up and spill and leak, Dixie plates do none of that. They are very strong, they don't bend or leak or get soggy. They also hold up well in the microwave. The 6" plates are too small for every day use, not really big enough for a sandwich or even a slice of pie. So I just use them for light snacks. And they are just the right size for pet food dishes. I like that, no smelly cat food dishes to wash. We like the ease of using paper plates whenever we can so we can cut back on washing dishes or running the dishwasher. When shopping, the first brand we always look for is Dixie. They serve our purpose well.

Nice Plates

Dixie paper products are my go-to choice for daily use and special events. These Dixie Everyday paper plates , 6.875" are the perfect size for desserts and appetizers. Even though they are labeled
"everyday", I would certainly use them for social gatherings including birthdays, game nights and other events. The design on the plates is very pretty and could go with a variety of themes and decorations. I like that Dixie makes other items including larger plates, bowls and napkins in the same print. I like that the plates are easy to separate. You don't have to worry about trying to grab one plate and getting three or four stuck together. The plates are also very durable. They can easily handle a big piece of birthday cake with no worries that the plate will bend with the weight. I also like that the plates can handle greasy or "runny" things likes dips without making a mess on whatever you set the plate. No worries about a greasy or wet mark on your clothing if you set the plate on your lap. I would be careful not to put anything too hot on the plate as it does not protect from overly hot items.

Great for Parties

Both the small and the middle size paper plates are perfect in weight and size for snacks and/or lunch. Sometimes you just want a little bigger plate and sometimes you want a little smaller.  Both these sizes fit the bill!

Good size paper plates.

I really like the way they hold up under weight. They are very absorbent, I used it for my lunch of leftover spaghetti and it didn’t leak through like most paper plates do. There the right size for my diet. I liked the fun look of spring on the design it still being cold here it brighten my day to look at them. It’s hard to tell that their thick enough to hold up to spaghetti, because it doesn’t look that thick. I like the depth of the plate it allows for food with sauce not to go all over like the other plates do. When I used a knife on the plate to cut my toast it didn’t go right through, it did leave a mark. I was amazed that this little plate was that strong. I had to experience with it and tried to rinse it off to see how it stood up to water and to my amazement it held up to a quick rinse, but like all paper if I left it to long it started to absorb it. The only think I don’t like about them is when you try to get them apart some of them will start to tear on the edge.
