I stopped wearing the original jeans during the disco craze, when jeans just got too silly and expensive. I have worn nothing but Dickies 824 and Carpenter duck since that time. These carpenter pants cannot be worn out. They have survived dry rock wall work, cement and concrete work, roofing demo and re-roof, drain ditch digging, crawlspace plumbing and electrical line work and crawlspace encapsulation, and have never let me down. The pockets are big, back pockets bigger, tolerate screwdrivers and wrenches in pockets, tool pockets are just right for yard tools and landscape tools, clippers, folding saw, trowel, etc. I have never lost a car key or lock key set kept in the watch pocket, regardless of crawling around on roof or crawlspace. They are my favorite daily work pant, regardless of the rehab or renovation job ahead for the day. Please keep them the same forever (or at least until I retire).
