    We had a rocky start with this faucet but it was the plumber's fault, not Delta's. He tightened the faucet to the sink and allowed the fine wires to get caught in the threads and ruined them. His firm ordered new parts and sent a different plumber for the second install. It was this second plumber who also figured out what the first one did wrong. It has worked reliably for eight months now and only yesterday started to misbehave. I could touch and it would not come on. If I picked up the battery pack, it might come on. If it came on either through touch or by manipulating the battery pack, it would not turn off with touch, I would have to turn it off manually. I followed a YouTube video by a man named Brett and when I tried unsuccessfully to remove the batteries, I noticed that it was suddenly working normally so I stopped and put everything away. But now I am on here because I read about TempSense and realized that we are not getting the red light when the water is hot. What do you suggest?

    This product has been working great for 6 months, after that the faucet keep dripping and the touch feature is working randomly. I can not even use it manually, because when I Opening I need to touch it and sometimes work sometimes not and sometimes working for seconds and then stop and starts dripping. Change the batteries 3 times and still same issue.

    Just had this faucet installed on Monday I was happy with it for 15 minutes. The light went out & every time I need to put the water on I have to open the bottom cabinet & move the battery pack around until the light goes on again plus the touch never worked at all! HELP!

    We just built a brand new home and have spent a fortune on upgrades, including the Delta 9159T-AR-DST touch2o for the kitchen and the non-touch for our wet-bar downstairs. The plumber has now spent countless hours trying to get the kitchen touch model to work, and it does not. We suspect is has something to do with the wiring as the light goes out on the tap after each use. To get the tap to give water at all, you must giggle the wires connecting the solenoid to the battery pack around and around until you hear a click; and the light is back on. The touch technology doesn't work at all, and we must turn it on/off manually and of course, that only lasts for about 3mins. Then the light goes out again and only after you've giggled with the wires under the sink again, can you get the tap back on for water. Then it goes out again. I've never been so frustrated. Cleaning-up is impossible and our kitchen sink is virtually useless to us currently. I sure hope Delta can solve this one, and fast. I'm extremely disappointed for the money spent on this product. On top of that, our plumber is charging to come back out if needed to change it. To me this is all just unacceptable.

    We built a new house with all delta faucets. We put the cassidy touch faucet in the kitchen. Originally the touch feature was intermittent, and the led would not light up, talked with the plumber who blamed it on this type of faucet being tempermental. After an hour under the sink with the installation guide, I got the sink to reliably come on and the led indicator to light up blue but never could get it to change with the water temp. All in all, we ate happy with the sink but do wish everything worked like it should.
