Dear God, this was awful. I've had it for a little over a year, and the lag is awful. Had to switch computers this year--which I was not happy about since $500 a year on a computer is nothing so sneeze at.

After the initial start-up I immediately installed another 16GB of RAM which noticeably sped things up, and I'll replace the original 4GB module with another 16GB when I can. But Dell was nice enough to make it easily upgradable. Add 8GB of RAM, and a 250GB (or larger) NVME M.2 SSD, and you have a real BEAST. If you upgrade it properly, it will benchmark faster than the Asus zenbook 3, which is currently on sale for about a thousand bucks, and that is the sale price. But if you are careful, you will spend less than 400 bucks on computer plus upgrades (not including tax or shipping). Oh, and it comes with a 1TB hard drive you can use for extra storage, which is why you can upgrade it with a very small SSD.
