It's the best contact cement I've used, but I sure waste a lot if I don't have a use for it.
I may have a need for only 99.9% of the cement. But I loose the rest by drying on storage. I can attest, the "upside down can" doesn't work.
I've read where buyers of the product rejuvenate the dry material by adding solvent. But the solvent costs as much or more than the can of Weldwood. That's a poor "investment!"
DAP makes a 3 oz. bottle of Weldwood. Walmart does not stock it. If you order it online from Walmart, its cost is $3.60 plus $5.00 shipping. That's poor consumer economics!!!
DAP also makes a 1 oz. bottle of Weldwood. Walmart stocks it at $5.39/bottle. That's even worse consumer economics!
I give it 4 stars because of its very poor storage characteristics.
