It was the caulk I was looking for at a really great price.I have been working on the exterior of my house and this is really good caulk at a really good price.

What a disaster

I decided to take on the project of replacing my basement exterior door's rotted lower jambs using a replacement composite frame saver kit. I used this product to seal the replacement lower jambs to the existing jambs and the aluminum threshold. Paintable in 30 minutes? I could not finish the exterior part of the job because it was to dark and would get back to it in the morning. Well it rained about 6 hours later and the clear caulk not only is still white but it's very soft and running out of the areas I applied it to, and I smoothed out and the ares I applied it to. Now I'm no expert but it does say for interior / exterior use. If it's paintable in 30 minutes doesn't that infer it's dry or dry enough to paint? Maybe I used the wrong prod...

    ive been using this product for years its always been a a low cost quality product. Now that i have Walmart just a touch away its never been as easy to get as walmart makes it. delivery is always on time and merchandise is packaged well. my painting and repair project is moving along smoothly thank you Dap and Walmart.

    Yes to this!

    As I've mentioned in my last review of the tool I bought from Walmart too to remove the "old" caulk, this one works great too! I've never re-caulked ever and I tried to re-do my bathroom and it was easy with this caulk brand. It is soft and seemed like it dried up fast too. It is a white and looks clean when done correctly.

    Great Caulking - and a Great Adhesive too

    I use Alex plus caulk for all kinds of things. It has always held up and worked great! It's cheaper here than at home depot. I once glued tile to a counter using this caulk thinking I could 'pop' it off if I got tired of it - NO WAY! That stuff was stuck forever. It took hunks of wood out when I tried to remove the tile. Good stuff!!!
