I LOVE these pants!
These pants are great! I like the length, the new straighter leg feature, the lightweight fabric parentheses but I think enough to not show like jiggle). Are used to order "Danskin Now Women's Dri-More Bootcut Pants" but like this updated model better! I just ordered four pairs because I like them enough to wear them like a daily "retired uniform" ha ha!

Buyer beware of shrinkage and distorted pants
I tried these on before and after washing them to get any manufacturing scent out of them, and they shrink at least four inches or more in the waist. (actually the whole pants). If you want them, go to the store and try them on. Manufacturing companies often send the pants to be cut and sewn by different contractors, so often times one pair will fit great, and then another pair will be horrible. If you buy them, go home and wash them in cold water and hang to dry. Don't make the mistake of washing them in your machine on warm or putting them in the dryer... Maybe they won't shrink if washed by hand. I'm glad they shrunk, since I was going to send them back. Once they shrunk they fit me all right. If you are tiny waisted these will work if you wash them in warm water and dry them in hot to make them shrink. I am only 4'11", and at 66 still have a youthful figure (I guess I am lucky). The whole pants shrink, so don't be shocked if you don't want them to shrink. That seems to be their trait. They feel comfortable to me, but I have only worn them one time. That is today. They fit nicely now, but I don't know what will happen in the next washing. As for the feeling of the fabric....It's a soft feel, but will not buy another pair of pants again online, unless it is from another dealer I bought from as well. Their pants were perfect and twice as soft. I was horribly disappointed at first, and if I had not gotten them to shrink, I would have sent them back. They are very distorted when they arrive. I would have put one time under the question of how many times do you wear them, but I put never because of that. They don't give you the option to put one time. Good luck to everyone who buys these pants...They do have a nice feel, but don't forget to wash in cold water and hang to dry. Best of luck if you buy these on line.

I LOVE these pants!

great leggings

these leggings are awesome. they're comfortable, thick, and cute. they feature a wide & supportive waistband, & sit just below the waist. they are also true to size. thankfully, i did not listen to the comments saying to order a size down. they fit perfectly. here is the sizing on the package for those unsure about what size to buy: xs/xch - 0-2, s/ch - 4-6, m - 8-10, l/g - 12-14, xl/xg - 16-18, 2xl/2xg - 20 hope this helps! =)

DANSKIN-SIZING INFO NEEDED FOR ON-LINE PURCHASERS

I was looking for leggings for running and these were perfect in terms of thickness, warmth, elasticity, etc., but unfortunately with no sizing guidelines provided by Danskin, the size I ordered was way too large in the waist. I'm 5' 7" tall, 194 pounds and had to base my size selection on the reviews I read. Based on that criteria I ordered an XXL size - wanting to be sure they were going to be long enough! I currently have a 39" waist and I would not have been able to keep these up while running they were just too big in the waist -- they were plenty long enough though. (I tend to be long in the torso and a little shorter in the legs.) I hope this reveiw will help the next purchaser possibly select the correct size! Needless to say, I returned them to my Walmart and haven't decided whether I want to re-order....I am hoping these leggings will be supplied to the stores as we get closer to Winter and the colder months. Hopefully Walmart buyers will take this hint.

Better than expected!!

These Leggings are just fantastic - the quality is excellent, much better than the ones I bought at a competitor & these are half the price. The material is thicker, the fit is better - overall quality is much, much better. They were much better than I expected based on my previous purchase from the competition, the quality of these is so far superior. The other leggings I bought were so thin you could practically see your skin thru them & they are very loose feeling so I have to pull them up at the waist. These fit so nicely & the fabric is just the right thickness - not too thin but not too thick - perfect! I would say they are not as tight but I wouldn't go down in size either. Plus they fit perfectly at the waist & have a band so the fit is secure. I love them! And I'm so pleased with my purchase I bought 4 pairs & I'm going to buy the capri leggings too! They have the quality of a much more expensive legging!I would recommend these very highly.

Had to replace Nike pair for1/2 the price, Perfect

My new Mastiff puppy found my $65.00 pair of Nike leggins and ATE them. A steak would have been cheaper. However; knowing Walmart Clearance quality as well as I do. Knew they would have to have something "similar " . To my sheer delight and utter shock not only did they have exact same pants ( just no Nike logo ) but they had them for the most unimaginable cheap price. But NOT cheap quality, pretty much the same. I absolutely LOVE them hands down order two more pairs. I wear these with just about everything. Only down side is the sizing chart offered when deciding what size is for you. As a 5'9" tall thin 125lbs finding the size that had both the length and the waist tight is so hard. These are closet to the high end Nike pair, slight difference is waist band could be tighter or more material. But heck for the price I love these and so will anyone else who buys these.

So comfortable!

I am a curvy female, and most leggings are sheer on me due to this reason. However, these leggings are true to size, comfortable, no bunching at the bottom (so no rolling/cuffing or having to tuck into socks for those petite females), and genuinely opaque. Very flattering without taking away from your body's form. I recommend that you have at least 1 pair of black leggings. They can be used for everything including working out. :) I am planning on purchasing 2 more pairs in the near future.

Cute and cozy but not for a serious athlete

These pants are cute and really cozy - they are NOT however serious workout gear. They might work for a half hour at the gym, they're not gonna work well for a 10 mile run. They're kind of a soft jersey cottony fabric that is very comfortable and flattering, but they hold water rather than wick it away. The upside is that they make your butt and legs look great, so I just wear them around the house. I'm 5'7" about 155 lbs, carry my weight more in my tummy - usually a size 8-10 pants depending on brand. I ordered the medium and definitely should have gotten the small. These are definitely for tall girls! I'm a bit leggy and on the taller side and had room to spare in the length, so they'd work great for taller girls who might struggle a bit finding a proper length pant. I wore them on a short run and they did sag a bit, so they've ended up being more of a cozy lounge pant than a serious workout pant.

Beware of sizing

I ordered two pair, both in the same size- they came as a set of two. One size - although marked the same- was clearly an entire size smaller than the other. Also, they were not even made of the same fabric, although this clearly was not how they were advertised. Very disappointing. Inconsistent sizing, as well as inconsistent fabrics!

Great for reg wear but workout...

These cotton leggings with a little spandex are soft and comfortable and have a loungey feel but get slightly baggy in the knee by just sitting to put my shoes on. I wore them in my weight training class which is 45 minutes long and when I finished the crouch looked like I had wet myself, although it didn't feel wet. Not a good look. It was true to size (may have gone a size smaller due to the forgiving material) and the length was okay. I'm 5-71/2" and it met at, to slightly above ankle after 1 wash but stretches out with wear. I don't think that I will wear them to the gym unless I change out of them before leaving or go straight home after the gym. But I'd definitely would wear them as a casual pant for running errands or lounging.

Look For Something Else...

First up, this is not your standard Danskin fare. They usually have good quality material. But this one is not it! It fits kind of okay, but not anywhere near stretch-y as a sports/workout attire needs to be. Also, the material is a bit rough to the touch. Plus, if you have any animals at home, HIDE this legging from them! The material attracts SO much hair, it is not even funny. Plus, the hair is pretty darn hard to get rid of, once it get on there--which, like I said, happens with alarming frequency. Update: After machine washing this thing, I discovered that one of the "legs" shrunk a little. So the left leg is now shorter than the right leg. I have experienced and thus expect this sort of thing from "White Stag" and other Wal-Mart brands, but for some reason, had expected Danskin to be more quality conscious. (They usually are!) So, if you're looking for a nice pair of leggings that you don't have to shell out an arm for, keep looking. Danskin has other, better products, for a similar price.

1. No they would not, they are not that long. I am 5'2" & the length was the only thing good about these pants. The waist on these pants was huge, they are odd. Misproportioned you do not want these, unless you have a very huge waist. The waist is not normal for the pants. Can't tell U what the actual inseam was I returned them. But sure they would be too short for you.
by tlynnfav
2. No they would be too short.
by CSICEO
3. I'm 5'11" and got the large. I have the same problem with the length. They are to my anlkes and so comfortable. Mine had minimum shrinkage and the length is still okay.
by ChillyBones
4. I'm not sure what the actual inseam is since they're stretchy and it's different when they're off versus when I'm wearing them However, I'm 5'9" and mine go down to the bottom of my ankles.
by FizzixMeg
5. I am 5'6" and they fit perfectly. They sit nicely around my ankles. If you are concerned pair them up with some boots, if they run short no one will know.
by Krissycap
6. I am 5'9" and they worked well for me, and actually just a touch too long. But the fit at the top can be strange. No elastic, just a band.
by sabregal
7. I am 5'9 and these are a tiny bit long for me so they may work great for you!
by An anonymous customer
8. I am 5'5" They go well over my ankle.Good Luck.
by MissJoJo213
9. I'm 5'8" with long legs, and these leggings cover my ankle bones even though I wear a smaller size. I think they'll fit you.
by kris66
10. yes they are very long and I'm tall too
by cat63
11. I am 6 feet tall and I cont. to order them they are long enough for me, they come to my ankles. But then again it depends on your size , how high you wear your pants and if you order your true size. I order the med. and they come to my ankles and again I am 6 feet. So would they be long enough for you being 5' 10 I would say yes based on the suggestions I made.
by comfortandfit
12. I am a 6 footer......they fit great!
by divachick4040
13. Mine are at least 31", not capri. If you're slimmer, they'd be longer. Sounds like they're selling two different products with the same description.

1. I don't consider them capris -- but they do run large. Nice enough fit to wear under my slacks.
by byonline
2. No they are not capri's they are full length. But I will tell U now , I returned them. The waist is huge, I mean huge. They fell right to the floor when I tried them on. If you wore them like low riders the crotch would be between your knees. The waist is just not normal. I don't recommend them.
by tlynnfav
3. The pairs I bought online were leggings and came full length. I am 5' 3" and they were a bit long, but I didn't mind because they are stretchy and I just scrunched them a bit.
by Luvs2InternetShop
4. I am 5'2" and the capri comes to my ankle and still have a little extra. I think the regular length woud fit you and if not nothing ventured nothing gained. I would try a pair. I have several as I wear them every day all year long to work out at the fitness center and for warmth in cold weather.
by sargeret
5. This actual product is the leggings. I'm 5'9" and mine go down to my ankle. However, they do sell capris in the same style. I own both, so that's how I know! Also, I'd recommend getting a size down from what you normally get. If you'd normally wear an XL, get a Large. I learned this the hard way.
by FizzixMeg
6. I found both the long and capri lengths available for purchase on the website. You may need to scroll down to find both.
by Krissycap
7. my daughter is 5 ft. and an XL and the capris hit her mid calf. They are perfect. They also come full length. and fit her a little too long but we haven't washed them yet!
by wsmom123
8. Not capris. Full-length.
by rainbowunicorngurl
9. The pair I got were not capri. They were full length. Nice and cozy. :) I bought mine at the store though. Maybe they carry them in a local store near you? Good Luck!
by Blowingallmymoney
10. no they are not capris they are full lenght leggings.
by cat63
11. Absolutely not. They might be 2" above my ankle, but I have at least a 33" inseam. They might be too long if your legs are much shorter.
by reallyhatetoshop
12. These are definitely NOT capris. There are completely down to the ankle.
by cday1234
13. They are not Capri's. They are full length. I wondered the same thing and took a chance and ordered them.
