My 7 year old daughter broke both of her wrists falling off the monkey bars at school. Our scheduled trip to Mexico a few days later included several hours a day in the pool. I brought this for my 7/8 year old son to use in the shower and on vacation. He broke his arm twice and we were able to use it about 6 months apart. He is on the thin side and the smaller end did a great job of keeping his cast dry. It comes with a hand pump to remove the air from the cast area to help keep it dry. You do not want to make it super tight while it is being worn. Very occasionally would his cast get wet and that was usually from removing it after the water activity. I definitely recommend this product.

Absolutely fantastic product! Yes it is difficult to put on, but definitely worth the aggravation. Using this was the first time my son didn't panic about getting his cast wet while bathing. When he broke his arm at the end of May, we assumed our summer water activities would be cancelled. Thanks to this product, they were not! It truly keeps the water out! Shopping was delayed, but I'm assuming it's because of the Coronavirus mess.
