It's a very nice scale. A little bigger than my original Cuisinart scale but not a deal breaker. The fact that this comes with a metal measuring bowl is a bonus.

Spend the money the first time and do it right. I had bought a cheap scale in the past and it lasted less than a year. Now I have this scale and it is so much better.

Kitchen Scales

This is our second scale, the first one purchased over 10 years ago and two moves. I love that you can choose between grams or ounces. Digital numbers are easy to read. I use it a lot to make equal portions for my freezer portions of food. Some of my recipes come in grams of weight and this makes creating the recipe quite easy. The stainless bowl inverts and becomes a cover while sitting on my counter ready for use. If you have never had a scale, I would strongly encourage you to consider this one.
