Delicate tea - 160 degrees: some teas are exceptionally delicate and need to be steeped at a lower temperature. Steep 1-2 minutes. Green tea - 175 degrees: with its fresh, light nuances from aromatic florals to nutty earthy tones, green tea offers many health benefits, including high levels of antioxidants. Steep 2-3 minutes. White tea - 185 degrees: the uncured leaves of white tea produce a delicately aromatic and ultra smooth flavor. Steep 2-3 minutes. Oolong tea - 190 degrees: a mild tea with hints of fruit and a subtly sweet aroma. Steep 3-4 minutes. French press - 200 degrees: maintains essential oils to maximize coffee's flavor, offering the true coffee lover an indescribable taste experience! Steep 4-5 minutes. Pretty Nice So Far

So far so good. Received it earlier today and I've used 3 times without issue. As time progresses, I'll update. I have a kettle that cost quite a bit more, but I appreciate the glass here and can see inside (able to watch for any rust over time). The lid opening allows me to fit my hand inside for washing too. No spitting or overflowing. Fingers crossed.

Not worth the price point.

I'm going to find my receipt and return this one for a different model. The outside gets overly hot to the touch and could end up burning someone. I grab from handle, so hasn't been an issue for me yet. The largest issue though is I haven't ever heard it beep for being done, or for it to stop warming. Instead it just keeps going until boiled dry if you don't go back and stop it. The evaporation rate on this is also extremally fast. Instead of stopping once the water is to temp and switching to keep warm, it just keeps going unless manually stopped.

    Great Electric Tea Kettle

    I originally wanted A teakettle because my boyfriend is an obsessive tea drinker almost every night so I decided to invest in one since my old way of boiling water was taking too long and sometimes the water will evaporate out of the pot LOL. This tea kettle has many temperature settings for various types of tea's or coffee. It has a really sleek and elegant stainless steel finish which truly compliments my already stainless steel kitchen appliances so it blends in perfectly on my counter top. Also when you select your desired temperature, that button will light up in a cool blue color and the “warming button” will illuminate a clear white color.     Suits to a tea, as advertised

    My daughter-in-law from Japan explained to me that different teas require different brewing temps. Following a lot of guess work with my whistling tea pot for brewing green tea, I spotted this kettle on the internet and have been totally pleased. It looks great on my counter, functions perfectly, is well manufactured and not only lets me brew at the correct temp, but also conveniently re-fill the pot for the afternoon dividend, again at just the right temp. Fast, precise and convenient at a reasonable price. Definitely stands out above the low-end, budget priced offerings.

    I'm happy with my Cuisinart electric tea kettle.

    I'm happy with my Cuisinart tea kettle. I have had a smaller electric tea kettle for several years. I wanted a new one that had temperature control and held more water. Since it holds more water it is much heavier when full. The handle is sturdy and the kettle is stylish.

    The best I've ever had!!!!!

    Works like a charm, boiled in few minutes with multiple functions, including keep war, fits perfectly in my coffee corner and this is amazing!!!!!
