I bought this as a Christmas gift to myself. I love it! I make bread once a week for my family and it's never been easier. I have also been experimenting with having the machine do all the work, then I form the bread into loaves and bake in the oven

I have been baking bread in my new Cuisinart about every other day. Using recipes from the book that came with the bread machine, and from Pinterest. it is so easy to use, even though I have a few tweaks to recipes. I have attached a couple of photos of bread I made. Hawaiian, challah, etc. All turned out beautiful. I have made pepperoni garlic bread, and roasted red pepper garlic bread. Awesome grilled cheese sandwiches.
Cuisinart makes a very nice bread maker. I first became interested in bread making when some of my family members developed problems with gluten. So, I looked for a nice bread maker and a good cookbook. The Bread Lover's Bread Machine Cookbook by Beth Hensperger is recommended. I have made a loaf of bread every week since I purchased the Cuisinart. It takes about 3 hours to make a loaf, so keep that in mind. Also, I always set the bread maker on light crust, because I have burned a loaf using the medium crust setting. You can put the machine on bake if the loaf needs more time, but the bread rarely needs to be baked past the light stage. I have made one gluten free loaf, which turned out dense but acceptable. I have had bread over proof, which makes the top cave in slightly after baking, but it still tastes delicious!
I always thought bread making was too complicated for me, but the bread machine makes it easy.
This was my gift to myself for the Holidays. I used to make bread with my mom's machine years ago and decided I wanted to make my own bread again, since it was hard to find exactly what I wanted in the stores. I've made a few loaves so far using organic, sprouted ingredients and I couldn't be happier with the results. Now that I am confident with the basics, I'm looking forward to trying a few of the great recipes from the book that came with my bread maker.
This was a gift from my husband to enable me to be able to have fresh yummy bread again. It does an amazing job from start to finish. I have gotten a perfect loaf every time. I am still looking for more recipes but this is the easiest to use, fastest to clean bread maker ever1
I love my new bread maker! I especially like the option of removing the paddle so it can bake without the big hole in the bottom. I saw someone's review that they could adjust the crust color, but I had no difficulty. First loaf was a little too brown on medium, so I changed it to light and it came out perfect. I've only made the Honey Wheat recipe. It's great! I do find the rapid bake options to work great....So I am a little mystified as to why you would want to wait 4 hours for the regular bake option when the 2.5 hour option comes out fine. If I could make any changes, it would be to make the audible tones louder...I can't hear them unless I'm right in the kitchen. My solution to this is to look on the chart when they will sound (like removing the paddle) and set my oven timer to match.
This is a good investment. I've experimented a few loaves and already have my favourites. Most of the recipes though need a few more tbsp of liquids so do check the dough while it's in the kneading process. Another thing that doesn't seem to work for me is the light crust. I haven't had any difference between light and medium in my end product. Not sure if this function even works since am afraid to try dark Incase it burns my bread.
My previous bread maker, which I used for 11 years, was the same model Cuisinart. I used it approximately twice a month for those 11 years, with good results. When the machine finally quit working properly, I replaced it with the same model Cuisinart bread maker. Hopefully, this new machine will be used for another 11 years!
