No flareups
Assembly was well documented and took about an hour to unpack and setup. The cooking box is all assembled and 1 piece so a 2 person lift. Cooks very evenly and no flareups like all my previous grills. The outside pot burner works well only wish it could be turned down to a lower setting but then blow out might occur. The only thing I had to get used to was initial burner lighting as each burner row has its own ignitor and it sparks as you turn the knob on - so you have to go slowly so some propane starts coming out so when that ignitor makes a spark it will light. If you do it quickly (as most grills have an independent ignitor not tied to the knob) it will take several trys.

Disappointing Cuisinart 3 in 1 5 Burner Grill
This is 2nd time I've written a review. For some reason the one written a couple days ago hasn't been posted. Another reason for our poor rating/review of the Cuisinart 3 n 1 Five Burner Grill purchased on 28 March 19 at Walmart in Oakland, MD. Long story short, after assembly and connecting a propane tank to the grill there was an obvious propane leak around the regulator which was verified with the soapy water test. The problem is not with the propane tank rubber seal as there are no leaks when that tank is installed on our old grill. The location of the leak appears to be at either the "back side of connection nut to brass nipple" or "brass nipple connection into regulator" (refer to page 8 of Owner;s Manual Operating Instructions). This is probably a factory defect but has really turned us off to the Cuisinart grill which took quite a bit of time to assemble. If we felt confident that the regulator and hose assembly is easy to replace we would consider that as an option. However, we aren't qualified to make such a repair so we are planning on returning the grill to Walmart as soon as we can talk someone into the use of a pickup truck to do so. Again, so disappointed with this grill as it had great features including the terrific burner warranty.

Love it

It is a quality grill, the lid is heavy. Good value for the money compared to other quality grills. Food turns out great. Love cooking sausage and eggs on the griddle, makes me feel like I am camping. It has two trays that pull out for cleaning, nowadays they are making grills without the cleaning tray. It took 30 minutes to put it together, it was straight forward instructions. Also like the modern design. No regrets purchasing.

Cuisinart 5 burner 3-in-1

This is my initial review. I've had this grill for 4 days. That's definitely not enough time to know how it will last long term but I will tell you what I know so far. As of now, I am very happy with my purchase. Assembly instructions were very easy to follow and the grill went together in about an hour to hour and a half. I took my time and enjoyed putting together my new grill. I chose this grill based on my price point, size of the grill (5 burner) for the money and the griddle. The smoke tube is a nice bonus but not a deal breaker for me. I also appreciated the weight of the lid. It appears to be well insulated. Only time will tell how that holds up. I seasoned my grill by turning all 5 burners on high and leaving it there for about 30 minutes. You could smell the oils burning off and there was a little smoke. After about 30 minutes I shut it off, let it cool and then coated the grates generously with vegetable oil. Next, I fired it back up and cooked some jalapeno poppers and NY strips. The burners all cooked evenly. While cooking I found the viewing window to be a nice addition. I can look in on the food and don't have to open the lid, therefore not losing any heat. The first meal on my Cuisinart 3-in-1 was a huge success. Next I seasoned the griddle. First I rinsed it off, just to get any solids from casting off of it. I brought it up to about 350 degrees and held it there for 20-30 minutes. Then as it cooled off I coated it with vegetable oil. Once cool I fired the grill back up and cooked 1 pound of venison sausage on it. Once that was done, I cooked enough pancakes on it to feed a small army (I have 3 kids). Not once did I have to oil the griddle while cooking the pancakes. They never tried to stick. Once again the viewing window made looking in a lot easier; not having to open the lid and losing heat. I really do like this feature. The sausage and pancakes were yet another success. Like I said in the beginning, only time will tell how this grill will hold up. I'm optimistic, with our dry climate here in the Texas Panhandle, this grill will last for many years. I will just have to wait and see. All I can say for now is the features on this grill (viewing window, griddle, large cooking space, smoke tube) make it seem like a home run. I definitely recommend this grill if you are looking for a lot of features at an affordable price.

Best grill I've ever gotten!

We got this almost 2 weeks ago and have used it several times! We've made burgers, hot dogs, fajitas, pork chops, steaks, and everything has turned out great! We used hickory chips with the smoker on the burgers and it really added some get taste! The side burner worked really well cooking green beans. And we made the best home cooked fajitas with the griddle! Overall I love everything about this grill, it is awesome! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
