Yes it burns, it doesn't contain alcohol but it burns. It caused tissue sloughing in my mouth the first few times I used it but if you're like me, you have gum issues and need a mouthwash to help control and reverse it. Suffer through the pain, irritation and everything will be okay. You'll see a night and day difference in 2 weeks after consistent twice daily brushing, flossing, and using this mouthwash!

Actually cleans bottom front teeth that are not easy to brush. Food particles just coagulate as I swish around the teeth and I just spit them out. I'm amazed how much food comes out of my mouth without even brushing. It like coagulates the waste for you to expectorate out. It's amazing that it gets all the bacteria out from simply swishing it around the teeth. I recommend it highly. It's like a miracle for clean teeth.

Great for the fight against gingivitis

This mouthwash is a little more expensive than some of the generic ones that can be purchased. However, it is well worth the price as it does a wonderful job toward killing germs that can cause gingivitis and halitosis, infection and bad breath. I have a bone cancer that makes it very important that I take extra care with my teeth. This and other crest products have been very instrumental in helping me maintain healthy oral hygiene.
