Swapped out the factory Goodyear tires that came on the truck at around 300 miles. Currently have 10,885 miles on the truck. Tread depth is at 13/32. Wear is very even, ride, noise and handling all great, it’s just a shame the tread wear has been so fast. At this rate life expectancy is probably going to be 25,000 to 30,000 miles tops. I will say approximately 7500 miles of the total mileage on the truck, I have been pulling a trailer. Maybe my expectations are to much, but I want to consider Cooper a premium brand like Michelin, and 40,000 to 60,000 miles out of a truck tire is the expectation from most consumers. Yes I will try Cooper products again in the future, next tire will probably be the new AT3 XLT, carries a 60,000 tread life warranty. And S/T Max will probably go 60,000 miles on a 1/2 ton, it just appears that maybe there are better options for HD truck owners.
