Customer has been confirmed to have purchased the item from Walmart.

The products I received ( two, because the 1st one did not do what I wanted it to do either) would not power a portable tire / sports ball inflator. The portable inflator works well when in a vehicle's cigarette lighter outlet. This adapter for converting a house outlet AC to DC was insufficient for my use. It may work for other appliances /equipment but not for what I needed it to do. Customer Service I have zero complaints EXCEPT I do NOT like loading computer programs I do NOT know anything about to my PERSONAL computer just to get a Return Mailer Form and instructions. Because of that specific issue I WILL NOT USE WALMARTdotCOM for further purchases. AND I have already DELETED the DROPBOX program from my personal computer, and stopped their emails. USERS beware, and Best of Luck for those who purchase this product.

It works well with everything I've tried. A very handy item. Probably not good with a high amp draw, but then again I don't have any of those requirements.

This adapter did not work on any device I tried. The part of my device that was inserted into the adapter was too loose. Evidently the hole into which the device was inserted was too big. R. Abney

Didn't work at all, tried it with a few different items I have that use cigarette lighter plugs with no luck. Several of my friend shave had the same issue with this adapter as well. Don't waste your money on this useless piece of garbage.

  • A. Probably NOT. The reason is that it probably draws too much current (amperage). Look closely at second picture above and you will see 12VDC and also 500 milliamp. The cigarette lighter plug in most vehicles is controlled by a 10 amp fuse. Thus, it restricts that plug to devices using less than 10 amps. The item being sold restricts devices to 1/2 of 1 amp. The car vacuum I looked at draws roughly 9 amps; thus, this device would not work for the vacuum I looked at. I have seen similar devices rated at 5 amps and they mentioned supporting auto air pumps; but, not vacuums. I believe the 500 milliamp versions may be meant for cell phone chargers. The ad could tell that information; just as your vacuum could tell you how many amps it draws at max load; but, I am betting your vacuum documentation dos not tell you that. Call or email the vacuum manufacturer to find out how many amps it draws at max load. That is how I found out for the one I looked at ;) YMMV

  • A. No way, unless the one I got was defective. But mine did power the smallest of things, like a light.

  • A. Possibly it will or possibly not; depends upon amperage it draws at max load. However, I doubt it would work with this 500 milliamp device. Probably need at least a 5 amp socket and maybe even higher. The reason is that it probably draws too much current (amperage). Look closely at second picture above and you will see 12VDC and also 500 milliamp. The cigarette lighter plug in most vehicles is controlled by a 10 amp fuse. • A. I tried my car vacuum 12 v output and it did not work. eforcity is selling a fake product which does not give 12v out put. I suggest to buy this product if Walmart sells directly so that if you are not satisfied then at least you can return with no cost. eforcity will sell the product with shipping charge which is non refundable

  • A. Mine would not work the air pressure "inflator" I bought it for. Mine only worked for a small light. This did not meet the specs it says it should work for.

  • A. Hello, Please be advised that the item is able to power 12V products. However, inflating a bicycle tire is dependent on the inflator itself. Thank you for your interest.
