An Interesting Little Book

My Mother has this book and she loved it. A very fun read. I bought one for my Dad as a gift. I'm sure he will enjoy it just as much.

It turns out that the ...

It turns out that the Statue of Liberty is not really in New York (it's in New Jersey's waters). The strawberry isn't really a berry (it's an aggregate fruit). Alaska is both the easternmost and westernmost state (it crosses the International Date Line). Lucifer is not one of the Satan's many names (it shows up in the Bible but refers to a King of Babylon; Milton is actually the one who gives him the moniker). Joey Green, an inveterate collector of the odd, brings together yet another tome of interesting facts. Green's collection makes for an excellent bathroom reader.
