    Good Little Trimmer

I have tried numerous brands of trimmers and always come back to Conair. This trimmer is easy to hold onto with rubber grips and has a wide selection of attachments for different lengths. Charge time is fairly quick but like many other trimmers the actual charge time is barely enough to use it once so you better make sure you do a good job as quickly as you can. One Conair trimmer I had about 10 years ago actually held a better charge and lasted longer on battery but I think they are making them cheaper to save money. Some people need a longer charge than others. The blades are smooth and dont cut your face up and it comes with a cool little carrying bag so you wont lose the attachments. overall its a great little trimmer I just wish it held a charge a little longer. Not all Walmarts carry Conair trimmers in store so I had to buy this one online.

    Will not keep charge

I have to keep plugged into charger all the time. Does not have much power. Seems to barley run.

Comparison of Conair, Remington & Wahl trimmers

I bought two other trimmers before finally finding the Conair Stubble Trim. I bought the Remington MB4040 and the Wahl 9916-817. I like to cut my goatee about 1/8" long and my soul patch just a little shorter. The problem with the Remington MB4040 is that its guard will flex inward if you push it against your face. Thus, hairs will be varying lengths according to how hard you push. Why have a guard to control length when it doesn't control the exact length? The Wahl does not have this problem. Its guards are static. However, both trimmers don't allow for precise trimming length adjustments. With the Wahl, there is a 1/8" guide and a 1/16" guide, but I wanted something in between. Moreover, the Wahl didn't cut well and was constantly pulling hairs instead of cutting them. The Conair cuts hair perfectly, no pulling on your beard. There are tons of short guides. I love the 3-position switch on the back of the unit that adjusts the blades forward or backward. It works much like the lever on the side of many hair clipping units. It allows for precision length adjustments that most trimmers can't offer. I can now get my soul patch area just a little shorter than everything else. Perfect. I have only used this trimmer for a few weeks, so we'll see how it stands to the test of time. However, for now, this product is perfect.

You get a little bit more than you pay for.

Had an initial problem but looks like it may have been a lubricant problem. Recycling the on/off switch fixed everything. Works great. Versital.

This shaver is VERY easy to use! The charge lasts for several days & because of the grips, is much easier to use than the other kinds, which are very slippery. This is an INCREDIBLE deal for the price!! Comes with every attachment you could possibly need, plus a small tube of clipper oil. Overall, I absolutley LOVE these clippers!!!!!!
