Great Little Boat
For the price, this is an exceptional product. As with any inflatable, it should be handled with care. My five year old grandson loves it. We both fit fine in it. He weighs 45 lbs and I weigh 145 lbs and it supports us without a problem. The two inflation valves in the bottom of the boat are easily pulled loose by just rubbing on them. To prevent such an occurrence, simply wedge a small, inexpensive kickboard across the width of the boat to act as a cover for the valves. The main valve is more sturdy and not as easily opened. The boat has been in a chlorinated swimming pool and also in protected Gulf waters near Pensacola. The sand, salt water and chlorine had no adverse effect on the craft.

This boat is a joke. It's a kids boat. And a single child, only. Very poor construction. When we opened the box, there was 2 holes in it already. The mesurements are for the outside inflatable. The inside, where a person sits, is only, approx., 20" by 28". I guess it might be alright for a child, in a swimming pool.

Great little boat

Verified purchase

Not sure I would call this a two "adult" person boat, but we have used it twice so far on a slow shallow river and it has worked great. The first time it held two small children with room to spare. The second time it held a small child, a smaller cooler, and a few other bags of stuff. No problems whatsoever.

These boats did EXACTLY what I bought them for. Went rafting down the truckee river and these were used to tow our coolers since those pesky things also get in the way. Connected them with a carabiner and called it a day. By the end of the rafting trip, there were holes at the bottom of the boat but nothing that can't be repaired with the patches provided.

Good Value, fast shipping

Very happy with the raft. Used it to pull heavy excess gear behind my kayak in rough water.

Air Valve Issues

Verified purchase

The air valves (3 out of 4) would not stay closed under pressure, thus releasing all air. There was no "one way" valve, so all the air would escape as soon as you remove your mouth. The two valves to fill the boat bottom are directly under the passanger. The passanger on the stern end will have two valves poking their butt, because they do not collapse into the device. I got my money back.

1. These rafts are not made of the materials like they used to. It used to be rafting inflatable boats were made of a combination of plastic or rubber and canvas. That was some really durable material. The material of these inflatable is very similar to the material used for leisure rafts, used to float in pools. The raft that is listed (8ft) for about $150 or more is much more like what you're probably expecting. If you just want to float around in the lake and (very cafefully) fish without taking any chances of hooks coming into contact with the actual raft/boat, you may be okay. No rough-housing allowed though!

2. Not a lot of leg room and probably not durable for fishing. Great for just floating around with an adult and child.

3. I think it's good, but I am not sure that this will be a good one for fishing because it'll be shaky when you have a strong fish! :)

4. Not recommended for such an application. This is an inflatable and can easily be punctured. There is not enough room for a child, adult and fishing gear.

5. I was very dissapointed. I am going to try Intex next time I buy a fish boat. Not sure if better but this one is a one use boat.

6. I would definitely buy something better. You will surely puncture it with a hook. If you do buy one, buy the four person. These boats are very small.

8. It won't even inflate--air leaks out before you can close the cap..and the cap even pops open....don't buy this! Terrible reviews--I wish I had read them before I purchased.

2. No oars are not included. I bought the set of two oars (easily assembled and durable). The cost was just short of $10, and they are the ones pictured on the front of the box for the raft. I like the little one person raft and oars that I bought. It is perfect for a medium to small woman. The oars are good quality and durable too. The raft is not meant for any REALLY rowdy activities. River rafting would not be a good use for this raft as the material it is made of is not very durable.

1. It would probably survive a fishing hook, unless someone cast into it at just the right speed and angle, but I would definitely try it during the day, close to shore first.

2. It is very doubtful that it would survive a fish hook assault...however, it does come with a patch kit. These inflatables are not made of the durable canvas plastic material of the past like REAL river rafting boats. They're made of the same kind of plastic as pool rafts. They're good for leisure - not made for river boating or durable (rough) fishing activities... *Think light leisure rafting in a calm lake.*

6. This is an inflatable with a relatively thin skin. It is a great boat as a TOY to play in a pool or in shallow, protected water. If you poke a fish hook into it, you will most assuredly lose pressure and the hook could cause the plastic to rip and that would result in rapid deflation. There are safety air chambers to sort of keep you afloat.

9. This boat will probably get a hole in it if you hook it with a fishing hook. We float down a shallow river with a rocky bottom and got small holes in the bottom. We didn't sink, and the boat held together well, but it still tore.
