LOVE IT - BUT BE CAREFUL OF TREE TRUNK SIZE!
Bought 2 from Lowe's in past 2 years for our artificial trees. Daughter "stole" one of them. Bought a new artificial tree for the dining room, so needed to buy another. Lowe's had them for $88. This was about $20 cheaper, plus free shipping. Since our trees are in the corners of the rooms, it's great to see all the decorations as it turns slowly around. As it turns, it makes the lights APPEAR to twinkle as they peek in and out of the branches. Remember, though, that it only holds trunks up to 1.25" in diameter. The company says they have adapters for 2", but would have to be ordered separately. When buying a tree, be sure to accurately measure it's diameter! They are not all the same (had to take 1 tree back, as it didn't fit the "collar" that holds it in place). Lovely, lovely, lovely! Also great for decorating, as you can rotate the tree, as needed, to add ornaments. No need to squeeze behind wall & tree. My husband made a box "present" to hide the green base, being careful not to interfere with upper trunk area, and cut a small hole in the side for the cord. Be sure to get a topper that is attractive on all sides!

Don't waste your time or money
I set up the stand, inserted the pole and the bottom branches, and turned it on. It turned for 3 seconds. The tree didn't even go around 1/4 of the way around. And of course it is Saturday, and customer service is not available until Monday. This was a replacement for an older rotating stand, Actually, it was to be an upgrade. It will take approximately another week to get a replacement. Now I am faced with returning it and either wait to decorate or not have a rotating stand. Christmas is hectic enough without boxes of decorations sitting around waiting for a tree stand that should have worked to start with. And what if a replacement stops after tree is up and decorated? Take it all apart so I can return another one? This is JUNK!!!!!

    Very very Good Item

    A real conversation starter!

I have had a revolving tree stand for several years and finally it gave up the ghost. So I was shopping for a new one. Walmart had the best price and cheapest shipping for the same product. This stand is just great! Everyone loves it! It doesn't sit as high as it shows in the picture. I have it on a plastic box to raise it up so the presents don't touch the tree as it revolves.

If you love seeing the whole tree!

This is my second one of these. The first one lasted five years before a broken water heater drown it. It comes all in one piece so nothing has to be put together. I love the fact that I can now see everything on the tree. It is larger then others I saw but I like the way the tree skirt lays and presents can be stacked nicely.

    GREAT quality

I purchased one of these in 1996 and it finally gave up on me this year. 17 years and strong!! I definitely searched for the same brand again because the first one was reliable and lasted so long!! In fact, the only parts of my old one that quit working were the recepticles. The new one works like a charm!!!! I hope this company stays in business for life!

Just what I was looking for!

We had an old Christmas tree that I purchased in a going out of business sale and it came with a rotating stand. This was my first experience with a rotating tree and I loved it! However after about 5-6 years we decided to sell it and replace it with a smaller tree. Our replacement tree did not have a rotating stand. So I researched them and decided on this stand from Walmart. The reviews were very helpful and I felt better about the purchase. Walmart also had the best price I could find online. Only have a couple of issues with it. First, we may have it installed incorrectly but the tree leans slightly. We've tried to straighten it and use the extra tightening screws but it still appears to lean slightly. Secondly, it's a little difficult to get a standard tree skirt around it. If you want to keep the skirt off of the rotating disk, you must open it up more and then it won't completely meet but that can be covered up with presents! On the positive side - it is as smooth as silk with no jerking at all and the motor makes absolutely no sound! All in all I'm VERY pleased and would recommend this tree stand.

    Very pleased!!!

Love my rotating Christmas tree. The setup was easy and it holds the tree straight. My gifts easily fit under the tree. As it turns the lights & decorations somehow create a twinkling effect, so pretty! I also like that there are two switches, one for just lights and one for rotation.

    Works great!

Been using stand for about 2 weeks and everything works great so far. Surprisingly quiet. Raises tree higher above floor than conventional stand and only has one speed. Would be nice to have a slower speed but still very satisfied with product.

So far so good had for week

I love the rotating tree stand. It is so quite and works beautifully. Hope it last for yrs to come....

It worked, but the fit was troublesome

My parents were looking for a rotating Christmas tree stand to replace the one that they had for over 20 years. It works! However, they also have the same artificial tree they used with the original rotating tree stand. To fit the trunk of the tree, my father had to remove the middle section of the tree stand to make it fit. Then he had to used a piece of thin rigid plastic to keep the tree snug in the stand. It still looks and works better than other rotating tree stands that I have seen. It just needs a better design to accommodate thicker trunks.

    4. No. There are two switches. One to rotate the tree, and one to turn on the lights. So you can keep the tree still and lights on, or rotate the tree lights off or on. It is great. And quiet.

    5. No. There are separate switches for lights and rotation.
    by Bjpa
    6. No. The tree can be lit up, but not rotating. The stand has 2 separate switches. one switch makes the stand rotate, while the other switch makes the stand turn.

    7. No. The cord has a box with two switches on it. One controls the rotation and the other the lights. You can turn off one or both.

    8. no ...a switch to rotate and a separate switch for lights

    9. There are two switches on the cord; one for on/off, the other to stop and start the rotation. So you can have the tree on and not rotating.

    1. On the part that physically rotates, there are 2 outlets on it that rotate with your tree. Now with that being said, if you have something under the tree on the floor plugged into it it will tangle.
    by mhaller
    2. There is a center base that rotates separately from the actual stand. the lights plug into that center base. This stand is built with the same rotating idea of a rotisserie. That's why it doesn't get tangled.
    by Slaybelle
    3. There are plugs where the tree goes into the base for your lights. Then there is a cord with a big switchbox you plug into your wall. The light plug turns on the base so nothing get wrapped around the tree. The cord at the bottom is stationary & gets plugged into the wall. The big green base does not move. It what inside that moves. Think of ice water in a glass. Ice & water moves but glass doesn't. Same concept with the base.
    by Momlovesleapster2
    4. The part of the stand that rotates has two built-in outlets for the lights to plug into. They rotate with the tree so there are no tangles. You would just plug your tree into one of them. The cord has a box with two switches, one for the rotation and one for the lights.
    by MomKatB
    5. The stand has a cord that plugs into the wall and there is a start/stop control on the cord. There are two outlets on the top of the stand. The light strands plug into those outlets so the lights, cords and tree all rotate together. A word of caution though, make sure all cords are tucked into the bottom of the tree and not hanging down.
    by OrnamentLover
    6. There are 2 plug recepticles built in to the base that turn with the tree. I can connect 2 25 strings of LED lights if I want to. Overkill is my middle name!
    by Bluefairy59
    7. There is an outlet on the base where the tree plugs in. The cord does not get tangled.
    by prj612
    8. There are 2 plug outlets on the rotating collar. Then a separate plug with switches... 1 for outlets and 1 for rotating. I have 2 extension cords in the tree hooked to the outlets, and the first stand I had lasted 12 years. Just bought the replacement 2 weeks ago, works better so far.

    9. There are plugs near the bottom of the trunk area, at the collar area. Thus, your cords turn WITH the tree - no tangles.
