Warm and Non-Slip on snowy decks, walks.

First I got the slip on Ramble Puffs in plum color - perfect fit for my size 9 foot - and wear exclusively indoors. Then I got these ‘booties' also in size 9. (BTW, last year's version must have run 1/2 size small, per comments). 9 fits exactly like the slip on - perfectly! These I wear outdoors, shoveling, errands, etc. We have lots of snow where I live and these perform well considering their height! Totally recommend and gifted the same 2 pair to my husband for his birthday-he lives his too!

Too tight to slip on without hands

Even with the buckle completely loosened, these are too tight at that spot to slip on without hands. Wanted something by the door to slip into quickly (e.g. while taking trash out in the winter) and unfortunately these are not great for that reason. My wife also says they look hideous so there's that.

Cute but disappointing.

I purchased these shoes a half size larger expecting a wonderfully roomy fit. When the shoe arrived, it was fairly tight, especially where the strap inside the shoe runs across the top of my foot. I have tried every option including wearing no sock in the shoe to try to relieve the pressure of the strap, to no avail. I have tried stretching the elastic strap, but experienced no relief. I am disappointed in this shoes because I love the Chacos brand. Sadly, I would not recommend this shoe.
