Chaco Lowdown Slide

I purchased these slides to wear for casual purposes. Our community was devastated by Hurricane Helene. I chose to wear these slides at our supply Point Of Distribution. Running supplies to cars and standing in a dirty parking lot for 8 to 10 hours per day, day after day. These slides held up. They were easy to wash in the shower and my feet felt supported. Although they were new and I had to band-aid up initially to break them in, they quickly molded to my feet. I hope to never use them for this type of purpose again, but was surprised at how well I was able to manage and work in them.

I love these way more than my zcloud sandals, they are way more comfortable. I wanted some more durable sandals after my chillos slides broke (which are some of the best sandals ever) and these have been a great replacement. I recommend getting sized somewhere before buying a pair. I usually wear a 7 but wear a 6.5 in the zclouds. I decided to buy a pair of lowdowns in 6.5 and that was the right choice.

Like the fit, straps are not my favorite

Overall, I really like the fit, and the arch support. I also like that these don't seem to slide off my feet easily or could be easily tightened if I need them to be. I've been able to wear them at work for long periods without issue. The only thing I dislike is that the strap hangs over the side and I feel like I'm constantly stepping on it and overall I feel like overtime that is going to cause the straps to fray
