    CUISINART 1000W REVIEW

I PURCHASE THIS CUISINART 1000W 5-SPEED JUICE EXTRACTOR IN BASED OF THE REVIEW FROM WALMART.COM, BUT TO BE HONEST IS NOT MEET MY MINIMAL EXPECTATIONS AT ALL, THE FIRST TIME I USED ONE MANGO,HALF PINEAPPLE W/OUT SKIN,SEVEN BIG CARROTS,TWO APPLES AND TWO PEARS AND WHAT I OBTAIN WAS ONE CUP AND HALF OF JUICE, WHEN I OPEN THE EXTRACTOR THE PULP WAS TO WET IN OTHER WORDS EXTREMELY WET, I WAS COMPLETLY SHURE THAT AT LEAST 25% OF THE JUICE WAS TOGETHER WITH THE PULP. THE SECOND TIME IT WAS WORST, I USED ONE ENTITLE BIG PINEAPPLE,SEVEN BIG CARROTS AND TWO CUCUMBER AND I ONLY RECEIVED 18 OUNCES OF JUICE, EXCEPT THAT THIS TIME THE PULP WAS NOT PULP IT WAS COMPLETLY WET,THAT COMPARTMENT ALSO HAS AT LEAST 25 TO 30 PERCENT OF THE JUICE AND THIS TIME ALSO WAS LEAKING FROM THE DISPENSER. THE JUICE TASTE UNBELIEVABLE IS A CUTE MACHINE,BUT IT DOES NOT DO WHAT IS MEANT TO DO. ILL WILL RETURNE BACK NEXT WEEK.
    MY CUISINART 1000W

    Juicing well so far

Purchased for this for my wife who recently started juicing beets, carrots, apples etc.. for her blood pressure as an alternative to the risky drugs she was prescribed. After a month she has had no complaints except that is is is messy to clean up and the juice spout drips after shutting off the outlet. She just puts a paper towel underneath until disassemble. The 1000 watt motor in this thing really works quickly and quietly. Pulp comes out mostly dry. Juice comes out naturally sweet and organic tasting. Nothing like the pasteurized commercial stuff. Some soft mushy fruits such as pineapple and mangos do not juice very efficiently with these centrifugal machines since their pulp does not seperate well. You will use trial and error. You would do better with a simple mixer type machine for these and drink the whole fruit, or use the gear masticating type juicer. Overall very pleased with the price and product and the wifes healthy raw beet concoction is actually working for her.

    Excellent Juicer

I purchase this juicer to replace a Jack Lalanne power juicer pro stainless steel model. That one was the biggest piece of junk I have ever owned. It was noisy. vibrated badly, wasted a lot of produce, leaked all over my counter, and was most difficult to clean. The Cuisinart CJE-1000 is the exact opposite. This machine exceeds all expectations. whereas the power juicer died on the third use, the Cuisinart is going strong twice a day. The machine is quiet, does a great job juicing (very dry pulp ) and cleans in about four minutes. The machine is very stable with no detectable vibration, whereas the power juicer pro actually did a dance on my counter leaking juice as it went. If you are looking at the power juicer pro, stop and look at the Cuisinart CJE-1000 you will be much happier. I also purchased the three year extended warranty, I can't rate that at this time as I have not had to use it. Hopefully I won't have to.

    Wow just wow!

I have used almost every type of juicer known to man. I recently compete completed a 43 day juice feast. I was surprised how fast they shipped from Walmart.com. I bought a refurbished one which was in mint condition and everything included was in the box. the first thing that I noticed about this juicer is how quiet it is. I juiced all whole bag of apples without cutting them in less than five minutes. it's very easy to clean and I love the no drip spout. I have used every type and brand of juicer out there in this is by far the best. I say run out and get them while you can they're not going to last long.

Wonderful Juicer at a GREAT Price

Works wonderfully. I now juice at least once a day. I typically juice green juices (kale and celery based), but also apple and citrus juices (it tastes much better than squeezed citrus). It also did I nice job with both carrot and beet juices. The five speeds is a must to get the maximum juice and the driest pulp. For the price, this Cuinsinart centrifugal juicer is fantastic. They are a pain to clean, but all these products are pretty much the same effort to clean, you can clean it fairly quickly after a few uses. For this type of juicer, it is probably the quietest, it does not bother me or anyone in the house when I juice. The only reason I gave it a five is that it does not make the quality of a "slow juicer" (like the Omega Vert 350) which is much more expensive, but one I would prefer but do not want to pay for, (but also does a better job with greens).
Received juicer 2 days after ordering; it does a good job of juicing and it is very quite when compaired with other juicers I have used. You could not tell it was refurbished as it looks new in every way.

    Refurbished - NOT

Let me begin by saying this is a GREAT extractor if you purchase a new one - which we did after trying to go the refurbished route and save about $50. Perhaps our first clue should have been a photocopied disclaimer about how to open the handle that was in the packaging. i happily followed all the directions, washing the pieces, removing stickers, reading the instructions all the way through. Unfortunately, the handle stuck so that neither myself nor my husband could get it to budge. It was like it was sealed shut. We followed the diagram then called the help line when we couldn't get it to budge. Their advice was to follow the directions. I told them that was exactly what we had been doing. So they said, "return it; it's defective." We loved the design and theory of te 1000 watt motor, so we went to a kitchen retail chain and purchased the same thing (with a 3 year, not 90 day warranty) and are delighted with the result. Thanks to WalMart for accepting the appliance back w/o complaining. We would use Walmart.com again - just not for a refurbished appliance.

    Outstanding choice at this price

5 speeds/1000watt same as Breville the anti foaming features rock design/functionwise its outstanding clean up isn't bad at all, only a few mins Pulp is pretty dry, when pressed after juicing only able to squeeze another shot glass full of juice, so yield is good no issues with being refurbished, feels brand new at this price point, with the 8 dollar 2 year extended warranty, you can't be this for an everyday juicer for your home. i've used several Brevilles, and have had several other juicers in the past, this is by far the best one i've used/owned. Grab it while its super cheap.
This product looks beautiful on my kitchen cart. But, it works exceptionally well and produces the juice you look for in stores but can never find. There is no better way to start your day then with fresh, healthy juice. This is a very powerful product with 1,000 watts of power. This is no sissy equipment, it is meant for foodies that care about quality and a consistent usability of their culinary equipment. Remember that cooking is love, love is cooking and to love to cook with this Cuisinart Juice Extractor, CJE-1000 is the peak of a cooking experience.

    Will Return ASAP

Very disappointed. Wasted a very large amount of carrots and beets that I grew and spent a lot of time cleaning. Of course I would normally do this to juice, but I have never encountered seeing all of our valuable produce (especially in January when pickings are getting thin) go to The pulp and So Little juice. I realize that I could have put the pulp back through to get more juice but Who wants to mess with watery beet pulp in their beautiful kitchen??? I don't think that it would have been worthwhile, anyway. It was also an extremely leaky messy appliance. I got it cuz I wanted the large pulp and juice containers and three inch input, but the large pulp pitcher filled up immediately from all the unjuiced juice. I have had a lot of juicers and never one this crummy. I got it cheap...refurbished, thinking what's to loose? A lot of wasted time and now I have to drive two hours round trip to return it. I have plenty of Cuisinart products and like all of them cept for this juicer. Really makes me appreciate my old stand by 1950's Atlas, even though it has a small hole, who cares.
