This was recommended by our dermatologist. I love the texture which is like a fine moisturizer. It seemed very protective when using it on the beach in Virginia Beach sun

Awesome Mineral Sunscreen
I have extremely sensitive skin and can only use mineral sunscreens. This product is one of the best that I've found. Yes, it leaves a white cast, however mineral sunscreens work by applying special minerals (titanium dioxide & zinc oxide) to the surface of the skin that reflects the sun away from your skin. The reason more popular sunscreens do not leave a cast on the skin is because they are chemical sunscreens that allow ingredients (Avobenzone, Oxybenzone, etc.) to SINK into the skin to protect it, whereas mineral sunscreens sit ATOP the skin as a barrier. So when you see a white cast, that is the product doing it's job as acting as a barrier against the sun. While chemical sunscreens are far less messy, they are not sensitive skin friendly. This product is one of the best I've found and I hope they do not discontinue it.
Great sunscreen for face
I love how this sunscreen is not thick but still has the necessary zinc and titanium. It goes on your face nicely and is not visible.
White face goes away
Alot of people are complaining about looking as white as a clown. While I do see why you are upset, just wait a little. The whiteness absorbed into my face within 5 minutes. Any sunscreen is a good sunscreen as long as it works!
Great mineral sunscreen!
I really love cerave products and I'd been using a 30sph sunscreen from another brand that I really liked. But since cerave had worked so great in other products for me, I decided to try it. Very nice sunscreen. Remember y'all, there's a difference between mineral and chemical sunscreens. It does leave my face a little greasy but I'm not too bothered by it. It left no white cast on my face for me. I wouldn't call it moisturizing, but it definitely doesn't dry out your skin. I put moisturizer on before this and have had no problems. It's not a bad sunscreen, it's just a mineral one. I will be purchasing again! I would live it if there was some way to get rid of the greasy feel, but I'm alright with looking a little greasy when a good sunscreen will keep my face safe. Also I found that if you let it set on your face for a while, it's not as greasy as when you first apply.
