Product OK, Packaging Terrible.
Nothing wrong with the product, arrived next day. However, the plastic encasing was so tough we used 4 different knives, 2 pairs of scissors (one broke) and it took about 20 minutes of effort just to get it open. The cut plastic was sharp enough to cut you. I'm not sure why.

Excellent for High School Algebra and beyond

In my sons Algebra II class it is highly suggested to get a GII calculator. This one does it all and more. I know it will last him well beyond his high school years.

Great calculator for all high school students

The Casio FX-9750GII is very easy to understand and use and will get a high school student through all available courses (including Calculus) BEST calculator out there for such a reasonable cost.

I bought this calculator about two months ago and use it almost everyday. It meets all my expectations for a graphing calculator, is easy to use and is sure worth its affordable price. Would I recommend it to a friend or to any student who needs to have one for school? Most definitely!

Got this for my daughter

It worked so much better than I thought it would for my daughter. A great item for the price and does the same stuff that the high price ones.

Great calculator for beginning high school

My daughter is a ninth grader that loves the features this calculator gives her for graphing assignments.

1. Yes it is. In fact, if you go to Casio's website you'll find testimonials and even a side-by-side comparison where they go through a few functions on the ti-83/84 and the same function on the casio to show you how many steps there are.
by Ninjapotamus
2. Yes it is comparable. It is just a different setup. Keep your manual close though to figure out what the button sequences are
by KChong
3. It does perform the same functions, but the techniques are different to find the answer. (press different buttons)
by MzGlo
4. Yes, just has a different layout and you just have to get use to working it. It's really different in that way from the TI 83/84, but it has all the same features. Just have to read the manual. Definitely a good value.
