I have only used this pressure cooker once so far, but am very pleased with the ease of use and how the food turned out. I like that it is made of stainless steel instead of aluminum. Instructions are easy to follow. Basically, just wash in soap and rinse before first use and add the food and water or other liquid. There is a fill line that is marked inside so you won't over fill the cooker. Then put the lid on and slide the top pressure safety lock on the lid to lock it. Then turn the dial all the way to the right to start it building pressure. Once it starts building pressure, turn down your heat to about a medium setting until your food has completed cooking. Very easy to release the steam afterwards. Either set it in the sink and run cold water over the cooker or do what I did. Turn the dial to the middle setting which starts releasing the steam. Once no more steam comes out and the yellow pressure indicator has dropped, it is ready to take the lid off. I plan on using this cooker a lot. I am very pleased with my purchase. I would have given this cooker 5 stars, but the operating valve that tells whether you have it set to the pressure setting, or the steam release setting or the lid removal setting was a little confusing at first, because it is black and doesn't have a mark pointing exactly at what you choose for the setting.
