Coconut oil
I absolutely love this product! I use it in my homemade deodorant and toothpaste. It's great for skin care products and for a hair conditioner. I rarely use it for any type of frying because coconut oil smokes at low temps. I do use it in all baking recipes that call for vegetable oil. And like I said, it's great for cold uses and homemade products!!

Has no benefit of real coconut oil
In short, this oil has little or no lauric acid which is the major benefit of coconut oil. So it has no healthy benefit, and if you want coconut flavor which has none either. Coconut oil is a superior oil because of it contains about 50% of Lauric Acid, however, it's liquid only above 110F (real coconut oil is liquid above 74F). To make it liquid at room temperature, all or most lauric acid has to be removed. So, while the marketing said "coconut oil", what you get is coconut oil with the best thing removed, the rest is other MTC oil which hasn't been proved of good or bad effect on body. It's mostly by-product after extract lauric acid for making cosmetic and resold as cooking oil for higher price.

Great product!

I have been doing oil pulling and wanted to try the liquid form instead of the solid form and it really is a lot better! The price on this is great too!! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]

Wonderful and Healthy

This product has replaced our use of vegetable oils and sprays. It works great for frying and baking. We are pleased we found this oil because it does not have the scent of coconut or the flavor, but it still has all the health benefits.

Truly oderless and tasteless

We use it in just about everything! Salad dressing to brownies ( yeah my downfall). But also drizzle it over pet food the dogs and cats love it too.

Great for Popcorn, no oily taste or other taste

I just started using this to cook popcorn since all other oils seem to leave a greasy taste and I can't stand dry popcorn. This leaves no after taste , to me at least, cost more but like I said I only use it for popcorn, my favorite snack at night.

1. This is from their website: Because of proprietary distillation process used to make Carrington Farms Coconut Cooking Oil, the amount of healthy MCTs is actually 4 times more than in regular coconut oil! So I'd say 'yes' it's fractionated. This is a very good product. I use it in all of my homemade products (deodorant, toothpaste, carrier oil for essential oil blends, etc). Unrefined, cold pressed, certified organic....all equals a good product!
