I have been natural for three to four years now. I stopped relaxing my hair four years ago but I big chopped on New Years of 2015, so New Years is kind of where my journey, journey starts. Last year, after two years of trying to find products that worked for me, I went to a stylist to have my hair done as I heard that this was the best way to find the right products for your hair type. The stylist told me I was a 4c and gave me a list of products I could use. Every product on the list was too thick and heavy or extremely greasy and my hair revolted. So a few months ago I went to a natural hair stylist and she basically told me the first stylist was wrong. My hair was all of the 2's(2a, 2b, 2c) and 3a. Because it is wavy, it needed products for wavy hair. She gave me ideas of what to use and told me to play around with them to see what was right for me. Since taking her advice my hair is in love with me! It moves the right way, it's growing like crazy and it's shiny! This wave whip was on her list but this is the first time I have been able to find it. My local hair store is kind of selective in what it offers so it's hard to find certain products. I was so happy to find this here. I used it twice since I got it on Saturday and my waves are happy. I used it Saturday night and made the mistake of air drying, then putting on my scarf. My waves were still there and popping but limp and smashed together. I rinsed my hair and did it again. Again my waves were like "Hello!", there, defined and beautiful. But this time because I knew I would be sleeping on it, I braided my hair, sat under my hood to pre-dry as much as possible then put on my scarf. This morning when I took my hair down it looked AMAZING! My hair loves this stuff. It is so hard to find products for just plain wavy hair. It seems like everything is for curly hair or curly/wavy hair but not wavy alone. This makes my hair sing!
