Great Addition!

I'm an amateur photog who was completely frustrated with NEVER being able to get a decent indoor shot (hate the flash shadow!) This flash is SO easy to use! Within minutes I was taking great shots of my daughter indoors with horrible lighting, but they were turning out great! Makes it look like you have a wonderfully lit room :) Lookout Xmas morning photos, I've got the Speedlite this year!!!

Not powerful enough for bounce flash.

With my new 5D Mark III, I still have to go to ASA 800 or above to get acceptable bounce flash result in the 10 to 15 foot distance range. Controls are overly complex and except in direct flash with no defuser this flash is simply under powered. I will exchange for a more powerful flash from either Cannon or third party equipment.

    Love it

    I bought this flash to use with my Canon Rebel Xsi DSLR and love it. Works wonderfully and is easy to use. Love how you can rotate the flash to side when taking portrait shots. WM.com was cheaper then our local store by almost $75!

    Awesome flash, just hard to maneuver in a rush

    I love this flash! It's a fantastic price for the results it yields. My pictures look so much better, very little editing needed later if you have the flash positioned correctly. If I could change one thing it would be the push button swivel. It's a little difficult to move when you are in a rush. Other than that, it's great...especially for the great price.

    Great flash

    Great flash for the money. While most would buy this as a slave flash, I got it for on camera use. Great results in all situations I have used it in. Works extremely well as a fill flash and as main illumination for your typical candid indoor or outdoor use. All flash functions are controllable from the camera with my Canon 550D.
