Simple Printer - priced right
Good printer for the price. Super easy to set up. Wish it had scan capabilities, but for the price that really isn't expected.
After many frustrating hours unable to do a wireless setup on my Mac, I finally tried a USB setup. It worked on the first attempt. For some reason I then tried the wireless setup method again, and this time it worked. Once the wireless connection was established, I removed the USB cable.
I stumbled upon this glitch with my old MG3520 and remembered it when my new MG3620 would not do a wireless setup. I went to the Internet to download the drivers, as instructed in the written setup instructions, and never checked out the CD that was included. Maybe it has a work around for this problem.
My review: After years of expensive HP printers that were always jamming, I was fed up. I tried a Canon MG3520 mainly because it was not a HP. That $50 Canon lasted five years and had only one paper jam in all that time, and that good experience is why I bought this 3620. So far no paper jams, and the duplex feature is great. One thing I do not like is the difference in color between the red printer and the brownish red lid. My old 3520 was also red, but the entire printer was the same shade of red.
the paper feed is very unstable and no matter what I did the wireless connection would not work. Scanning is not done via computer but an AP which I could not install
Good but noisy
I had a hard time making the new printer communicate with my Mac wirelessly. It works well but it is noisy.
Cant install/setup after numerous attempts.
Still havent been able to install wirelessly or by computer cable. It keeps saying installation failure. Reallt frustrating.
Can NOT connect
Can not connect to any device. Did not come with a connection chord to connect directly from printer to device and there is not one in stock anywhere in our area . Very frustrating!
It's awful. Don't waste your money. I got it about a week ago and every single paper gets jammed when doing double sided things
