At $35.70 I didn't have a lot of expectations other than meeting my baseline requirements for a brand-name printer/scanner/copier that did its job like all other devices similar to it. Yet here are some bonuses and pluses in its favor. (If you are running a professional home office I'd recommend you spend the money to get the right equipment for your needs; this model is probably more suitable to students and others on a budget). The high points are: a) ease and reliability of setting up the printer (thanks to good documentation in the box and online); b) good bundled software package (though redundant since I already have iPhoto and Photos); c) multiple connection options for the printer; and d) accessibility to various devices (I've connected two Android devices to the printer). The low points are lack of an LCD and a low capacity paper tray. Overall, I still give it 5 stars since it fits my requirements and delivers a lot of value at the price point.
