Surprised at the quality of this flatware for such an affordable price - I'd expect it could easily fetch three or four times as much. Very heavyweight, well balanced, surprisingly durable, the finish is awesome; take a piece out of the box if you're in the store and check out the heft & balance. Good stuff. The inner angle on the fork tines is an interesting touch. I'm used to purchasing Oneida, perhaps because it's omnipresent, and have no familiarity with Cambridge. I spent about 30 mins in the store scrutinizing the flatware selection and through process of elimination I kept whittling out choices one-by-one until I was down to four choices, all of which were Cambridge. I'm not even a novice in the flatware industry, but I can recognize quality and the Annalise has it in spades. I bought two sets so I'd have service for eight, and one soup spoon had a rather sharp, tiny, burr on the handle. Instead of returning it to the store, I visited CambridgeSilversmiths.com and called their customer support. In just a few moments a replacement piece was being shipped to me by a friendly and efficient product support rep. Very impressed by it all, and certainly would recommend checking out this brand over Oneida or others at this price point, even considerably more expensive stuff.

I bought two sets of this silverware for my daughter on 2/16/18...she told me today, 4/3/18 that some of the pieces are rusting and some of the finish has flaked off and sliced her hand. I’m not sure what to do with this junk. Only gave it one star because she loves the design.

I was impressed with the weight of the flatware. It has a substantial feel to it and it also looks really nice. We've used it several times now and put it through the dishwasher and it still looks nice (no water spots, etc).

I found it helpful to read others' reviews, so I just want to add my opinion to those who loved this set. It is a simple classic design, but beautiful. I was completely impressed at the weight of each piece and I know they'll withstand years of use. They're heavy and durable and perfect. I love 'em!

I bought this set to replace a older, casual, everyday set that I had for some years and had become tired of. I was looking for a casual and inexpensive flatware set- but not cheap, or cheap looking. This set fits the bill. The pieces are attractive and are are good size weight (I prefer larger & heavier pieces and these qualify). Overall I am very satisfied with the purchase. You will be surprised how nicely these compare with sets that a several times the price.

Great item quality! Would buy again if I needed it as it did exactly what I wanted it to do especially the knives. Very nice cutting-edge which is what I wanted to cut meat with as most knives don't have a sharp enough edge. Thank you for making a quality merchandise.
