Don't Be Afraid to Order this from Walmart!!!

After extensively reviewing and evaluating induction ranges, I chose this model by Cafe' - which is GE's high-end line. After searching different websites for prices on this range, I found that most places want around $4,200 (on sale) and a couple of places had it on sale for around $3800. Walmart had it for a little over $3,100 using a secondary seller. I ordered the unit and it took about 2-weeks to get here after traveling halfway across the country. It arrived in perfect condition and the delivery truck people were extremely nice and even offered to haul it into my house. The box was in perfect condition and the range was in perfect condition when I unpacked it. I had no trouble installing this item myself - you do have to buy a cord, but that is standard practice nowadays since there are two different types of plugins in use around the country. The cord is simple to install. At this point, I have used the range only a couple of times but it has performed perfectly. One thing about this range is that the cookware MUST be at least close to the sizes of the burners. For example, this range has one 11-inch burner and the minimum inner ring size is about 10.5-inches. I had NO PROBLEM using my 12-in All-Clad frying pan even though the bottom (the flat area) is only about 10.25-inches. I doubt that burner would work if you tried using a smaller 10-inch pan, but I haven't tested that yet. I would highly recommend buying this range through Walmart - it is probably the cheapest price you will find. I had no issues all with the company who sold it and delivered it and it was delivered on the exact date Walmart said it would be delivered.

Fantastic induction range with great oven features

So far so good. We are less than a month in, but we love this range. The oven is spacious and has great features. The cook top is incredibly fast and precise, and very easy to clean. We are new to induction, but should have switched years ago! Plus, we are looking forward to making use of the warming drawer. Overall - at this point - I would recommend this range.

Lovely!

It is a beautiful range! We haven't had a chance to use it yet, but so far everything is working well. It does make an audible hissing sound when it is working, which is much worse when there is a metal steamer basket in the pan (for steaming vegetables). The fan comes on when the oven is used, and while the sound isn't too loud, it does bother me and continues longer than you'd think necessary to cool. I wish that could be turned off, but I understand it is a safety feature. So far it seems very easy to clean, and I love the knobs and the control panel. The controls are very intuitive and easy to figure out. We don't want to use any of the smart features. Hopefully it will last a long time!
