Keeps my arm cast dry

Great product! Easy to use. Always kept my half arm cast dry at shower time! Reusable! I've used only one of two in the package for 7 showers, and I am still using! Be gentle putting on and taking off...doing so will prolong the protector's longevity and functionality. Tip: pull down on cuff slightly once you have it on so seal edge is closest to your shoulder. That will provide a better seal!

Great product

Verified purchase

I purchased this product to protect my hand-to-the-elbow cast from shower water. It works great. I needed the two sleeves to work for at least a week, and one of the has lasted that long! Very flexible, tight enough around my arm to keep water and soap out, and hasn't split yet even after all the stretching to get over the casted wrist area.

Simple, it works, and it lasts

Verified purchase

Takes a little effort to stretch over my cast, but it will stretch over bit by bit until it slides down the arm of the cast and 'pops' over the end. At first the seal was quite tight (a good thing), but it has loosened over time. I've used just one of the two 'bags' for almost a month. I suspect it'll get dirty or mildewed before it starts leaking. Tip: Burp the trapped air out after putting it on. Fit it to your hand, then hold the cast to your chest. Use your free hand to stick a finger in the seal to allow the air to escape.

A must have

Verified purchase

This is a must have for anyone with a cast. It goes on easily with one hand and help isn't needed. It keeps the covered area completely dry and you can use it over and over. Well worth the price paid! I tried another brand that was twice the price and was not able to put it on myself, then once on, it was so tight it left an actual mark on my arm. Highly recommend to anyone who has a cast.

1. This item is 22 inches in length and extends just beyond the elbow when worn with the thumb in place. If worn without the thumb in its place the protector will reach the top of the shoulder. I prefer not to use the thumb position while showering because there is extra material in the hand area to accommodate a cast. It is perfect for wound protection, is easy to put on, and does keep out the water.
