The grind may not have been as consistent as a more expensive grinder, but I didn't measure each particle. I used it daily, sometimes more than once a day, and it functioned perfectly for my needs.
Yes, it's loud, but that's just the nature of a coffee grinder. It's not supposed to be quiet.
The grinder is easy to use. I never really cleaned it or did any maintenance on it (except to wipe off the outside). It has plenty of power for the task it was designed for.
Great grinder!
