This is a GREAT powder that I now use for my everyday face instead of Jane Iredale's PurePressed Base Mineral Foundation pressed powder and Amazing Base Loose Mineral Powder forever. (I still use JI for dressy occasions and/or when my overall attire requires a more polished and made up look.)
CG, please consider making a few changes, though. Otherwise I fear that my favorite powder will be discontinued due to lack of sales.
1. Bring back the shades that (I think) have disappeared. The three remaining shades still include the two that I use every day: 110 and 115. But I could swear that there were AT LEAST FIVE shades when I first started using Advanced Radiance.
2. Replace the paper label on the cover. I keep my compacts in individual slots in a rack, and still the CG Advanced Radiance labels start peeling off. Personally, it's not a deal breaker bc I know I'm getting a great product. But the tacky labels are certainly not a selling factor for the product!
3. Bring back the full-sized mirror mounted inside the cover, not barely glued on with bare edges exposed. Are you kidding me? Maybe that small mirror would be appropriate for applying lipgloss, but not for a full face. While this is not a deal breaker, it is super annoying.
4. Ditch the puff applicator! No wonder people are complaining about a cakey application. And maybe that's why the teens don't seem to like this powder, either. Just make sure your Makeup Masters Brush is in stock online and stocked next to your powders in the D/S aisles. I always use my own brushes to apply cosmetics, whether D/S product or high end. It makes a world of difference. I am 63 but look 43 (even my still-bratty younger brothers say so), and this powder does not highlight my fine lines and large pores. Quite the opposite actually!
You probably won't find my comments interesting. I just had to vent my frustrations about a wonderful product that is not being given the marketing attention it deserves.
