To be fair, I inherited a set of these on a used pickup 10 years ago and hated them. I thought then the problem might have been lack of timely rotation and they were too far cupped to get back to an even wear.
I always loved the look of these tires however, so when the time came last fall (2019) to replace the set on my '13 F150 I decided to give these another shot. I have not regretted this decision once. I'm running 305/50 on the stock 20" FX4 wheels. I replaced the stock size 275/55 and my ride quality has improved, the road noise is the least of any other A/T tire I've owned (comparing to Nitto G2, Toyo Open Country and Nokian Rotiiva) and the performance has exceeded my expectations regardless of condition--having driven in plenty of rain and snow both, as well as mud out in the pasture. There is plenty of lug for good all around traction beyond hard-packed surfaces, but they also clean very well so you're not creating 'mud-slicks' if you're in the sticky stuff. Load rating on these is plenty good for a 1/2 ton pickup and they have balanced very well, no cold lumps if the pickup sits for a few days before I drive again.
I drive about 25k miles each year, have so far put 10k on these tires and not any discernible wear so I'm expecting great life. I will say, be diligent about your rotation schedule so you don't get them out of whack beyond repair. Would not hesitate to recommend these to anyone, even thinking about using them on my wife's Explorer when she's due for tires next.
