More birds for less money

The least expensive seems to work best. I bought several suet baskets and this one gets the most action. We are new to feeding birds and don't know much. We get lots of woodpeckers from small to large. We have a double side plain basket and a double with a roof. I think the birds like being able to grab a perch on all sides. This one is consumed the fastest.

The seeds melt off easily and gets all over the ground, especially when weather is hot or raining. Hard to find a place to hook it because the hook is small.

    Multiple uses!

    I don't use it as a feeder. I actually put my cat's fur in it for the hummingbirds and any other bird that may want to line their nests with it! And the price is the best I've found

    I have used these for years

    I love watching birds but can't do big bags of seed. So suet blocks are the ticket. I have had one wherever I lived for decades.
