    Beautiful Chair!

I have been looking for a comfortable computer chair at a reasonable price for sometimes when I came a cross to this chair on Wallmart.com , so I bought one. At the time it was sold out online so I was able to get one from near by Wall-Mart. Anyways, wow I couldn't be happier!! Putting it together was very easy, however I was a bit disappointed the silver parts were not metal but a sturdy plastic, I thought for the price it should be metal. Also in my opinion with brown leather those parts should be gold, not silver so before I put it together, I painted those parts with gold spray paint and it turn out to be incredible! Since I was also looking for new dining chairs, I said why not and purchased few more and they are the most comfortable chairs ever, while I enjoy my meals. I have got so many compliments its unreal! They are very elegant and I love the rich color of the leather. Its a bit larger than other executive chairs which is a bonus. One thing they should've put in description is that, on the box it says "big&and tall and up to 350lbs", which they didn't mention and they should. The seat has plenty of cushion and its so soft, it also has tilt and tilt lock which is great. The pictures on here didn't do any justice so I am uploading some pictures so anyone who is interested can get a better idea. I do recommend this chair to anyone, it looks and feels much better in person :)

    Armrests Not Leather

I purchased this chair for a great price and after awhile the armrests began to peel. They are not bonded leather and therefore will not last very long, mine about three months. I would not recommend this chair to anyone, it will not last.

    Garbage

Don't waste your money on this trash, I'm only a 200lb dude and this chair broke a month after I bought it. DO NOT waste your money this chair is no where NEAR worth what they want for it.
    bad chair

    Great Value

I recently purchased this chair at my local Walmart. I've had my eye on the chair for some time now due to the rich and classy look everytime I pass by it sitting on the display in the store. I read nothing but good reviews about the chair so I decided to make the purchase. I'm glad i did. Very comfortable and beatiful to look at. The tilt feature is always a big plus. I am in school online as well as run a part time buisiness online.....and yes I kill at least an hour a day on Facebook ect.....so a good part of my day is spent in this chair (I'm sitting in it right now) and I'm fully pleased with the purchase. I'm 6ft tall and a little over 200 lbs and this chair fits me great as well....and the compasity of this chair even goes up to 350lbs. Now keep in mind the cost of this chair is not very expensive compared to the higher end models elsewhere, therefore its not the nicest on the market. BUT I dare you to go out and find a chair any better than this one for under $150

Most horrific chair I ever owned.

Two major problems with this chair. First, there is NO back or lumbar support. If you unfortunately purchase this chair, at the time of purchase the stuffing will appear sufficient, however it will QUICKLY flatten our, losing its softness and you will literally be sitting on a board; the cushion flattens losing ALL softness. That includes any cushioning on the backrest. Without cushioning and lumbar support, I cannot sit in this chair for more than 30 minutes without my back just killing me. At work I sit in a cheap chair made for small people and I have no problems with my back, at all while in that chair. The other HUGE problem with this chair that it randomly drops to it's lowest setting, multiple times an hour. I'm 6'5" and like the chair all the way up at it's highest setting but multiple times an hour it will just drop to its lowest setting and it feels like you are sitting in a hole. There is flushing your money down the toilet and there is purchasing this chair. Flushing your money is a better investment.

    beware if you need support

I purchased this chair in March of 2012. About 9 months later, one of the castor mounts started to buckle - they are held in place by many little fins of thin plastic, and these had started to wear out on one end. I contacted the people who actually made the chair for Broyhill (a company called True Innovations), and didn't receive a response for nearly a month. When I finally DID receive a response, they stated that because I didn't have the receipt from the store, this would be considered out of warranty. This is despite the fact that I did not tell them WHERE I purchase the chair from, yet they were able to tell me the exact store in my town where I bought the chair - they obviously were able to track the thing. They wanted to charge me $20 JUST for the castors - they didn't give me an estimate on the star base, which I also needed. Otherwise, its a good, comfortable chair, but buyer beware - this is not made or supported by Broyhill, and it's barely supported by the company that makes it and licenses the Broyhill name, True Innovations.

All in all good buy for the price

We purchased two of these for our home office. They are excellent in design and construction for appearance. We chose these because of the price and because we are both large people (in height and width). My husband is 6 ft 6 and can easily sit in this chair comfortably. I am 5 ft 9 and most chairs I have to extend to the limit for height. This one still has room to go and allows me to sit properly. One of the two chairs shimmys on the base and we are trying to determine if we did something incorrect in putting it together or not. The other is solid. They were quite easy to assemble. The only other complaint I have about them is the lock for the tilt feature. It is easy for my children to push it in and then the tilt is locked without my knowledge and I have to get out of the chair in order to release it again. Other than that these were a great purchase for the price and I would recommend them to any big or tall people.

    They don't honor warranty

You would expect that with a chair that is advertised for the big and tall crowd, it would be pretty heavy duty, and MOST of it is. Unfortunately, the castor housings (part that holds the wheels) are made of cheap plastic, and only lasted a few months before they started breaking. The manufacturers website pulled the product right up, listed the parts, and had a simply little form to fill out to get parts under warranty. The problem is, once I filled it out, I got an email from their customer service department telling me they couldn't honor the warranty without a receipt. Now, if you are anything like me, that little piece of paper went in the trash 10 minutes after the chair was assembled and I was rolling around my floor. She then went on to say that without the receipt, I would have to pay $10 plus shipping for the parts to fix it. For the record, they are available at Lowes for less than 5. I'll never buy a chair from this company again.

    Great office chair!

I work from home 40-50 hours a week & needed a new chair after mine broke shortly after the 2 yr warranty ran out. This chair looks great, was easy to put together, & is comfy enough. The back support is great and it's nice and wide enough for all body types. The box actually calls the chair "the big & tall". I give this chair 5 stars because its comfy enough and the price blew me away for the quality. It looks like it will hold up nicely & the warranty is the best on the market! I will say that on busy days where I am glued to the computer this chair kills my butt! I usually make it a point to get up and move around on a regular basis, but on the 1 or 2 days where I could not afford a break it really hurt my backside. I've considered adding one of those thin gel cushions, but will probably just make a point of getting up to stretch every hour, that's what's best for me anyway! Get this chair!!!! You deserve to treat yourself & you won't be sorry! Other places sell this same model for $300!!! ;)

    Don't Get This Chair

Within 3 weeks of purchasing this chair, the center pole shot straight through the base and onto the floor. This chair is rated at 350 lbs for a bigger person. However, the absolute flimsy plastic on bottom of this chair, clearly does not support the weight specifications listed. As there was no display model at Walmart upon purchasing this chair, I went by the writing on the box. This chair should be wider (for a bigger person) and should sustain a person up to 350 lbs (Which it fails on). With other people in my house, we have purchased office chairs (these people are not big and tall), these too just lack the construction quality. They wobble, tilt, and just do not work properly. I will never purchase another chair from Walmart, or suggest for others to do it. 140 bucks for a chair listed for 350 lb capacity. I should of saved that money and bought a real chair. Thumbs down for Broyhill.
