Glad I purchased 1 opposed to 2+ first!

Thankfully the store pickup option was not available for purchasing the multiple set with extra filter packs. I recommend purchasing one bottle to see if you like it before buying additional ones. Overall it's a great value and I'm not going to return it.. but I am quite disappointed. Now it makes complete sense, but I initially expected the water to filter down opposed to being unfiltered until it's squeezed out. If you like squeeze bottle / sucking on tips, it's a great product. I just prefer to drink faster! Here's the "BIG FLAW": After reading the packaging, it's not as great as you may think. I could be wrong, but I believe they're only claiming that the filter will REDUCE chlorine ODER and taste! That's IT. I wasn't expected to be able to go to a duck pond and now drink the water with my Brita bottle.. but I was expecting it to eliminate things such as E.D. medications, etc, that's been shown to be found in tap water. Was going to buy these for all of my family for the Holidays.. not anymore. =/

It did what it says it does

All I wanted was a water bottle to filter the nasty chlorine taste from my tap water. That is exactly what it did. I already knew just by looking at it that it would be one of those squeeze filters, so the squeezing doesn't bother me. For me it occasionally leaks but only when you're shaking it around our something. Tilting it back, it doesn't leak into my face. I think the rubber or silicon attachment was to try to accommodate for that. Even if it did more often it is in fact just water... I still taste the hard water that seems to dry out my mouth. However, this bottle didn't say it would better the quality of my water, just the taste. It literally says "The Brita Bottle® filter is not intended to purify water." If that is what you want get a water softener and actual filtration system for your tap water. You get what you pay for. For about $10, I think this is a very reasonable trade off. I rate this 5 stars because it preformed its purpose and I am satisfied with my product.

Good for kids

The nice hard plastic one was easily broken after dropped a couple times by a child so we opted for this more durable one! This leaks less than the hard plastic one also!

Money saver

I have used a Brita bottle for over a year and a half. I have always drank pop and sugary things. Not anymore. I drank a lot of pop, not sure how much I drank, but in my first year along, I have saved over $3000. Not kidding you, I drink water all day, everyday, with the occasion pop, like at movies. If I were to spend $3000 on pop, that's a lot of bottles to be thrown out, and I would be weighing a lot right now. My mom, brother and my friends drink from a Brita. They also love it. Trying to get my dad to drink, but he likes to drink coffee, and tap water. The filters don't cost much. For one box of filters, which has two inside, can last me up to 6-8 months. Only $8 for the filters. I would have probably spent $300-$400 in pop. That's a lot of filters right there. With the money I had left over, I bought a year and a half of filters, and another bottle, so when mine gets old; I would have one ready. I would totally recommend Brita to anyone that wants to save money, and be healthy. :)

when I bought my Pacifica 10 cup picture it came with a free water bottle. First our picture is amazing it's been almost a full year as I got it last Christmas as a gift for my partner and I was hesitant because a lot of the reviews said people were having trouble with the light indicator not working properly after a few months, however mine has never stopped working it always works correctly as long as you follow the directions and reset it the right way when you put in a new filter. So the Brita Pacifica picture is amazing, and then the Brita water bottle that came free with it is amazing and awesome as well because all you need to do is change out the filter when needed and put in the water and you're good to go. I have recommended both of these products to so many people and they have taken my word on it and gotten them and left them both! Teen Titans are definitely, absolutely Keepers especially as I said since it's been almost a full year since I purchase them. LOL [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
