Offering freshly brewed coffee with crema as well as delicious, authentic espresso, VertuoPlus Deluxe conveniently makes two cup sizes, 8 fl. oz. coffee and 1.35 fl. oz. espresso, at the touch of a button. VertuoPlus Deluxe uses two different capsule sizes - a large capsule for coffee and a small one for espresso. Centrifusion, a patented extraction technology developed by Nespresso, recognizes each Grand Cru blend thanks to a barcode on the rim of the capsule. The brewing parameters are read and adjusted by the machine with no need for you to change the settings. Plus, a convenient tasting kit with 12 Nespresso Vertuo capsules is included to get you started.

Wish it lasted longer

I have absolutely LOVED my Vertuo plus the past 2 years. I never had any issues with it. Until recently I did a descaling cycle with the Nespresso descaling kit and ever since then my coffee has tasted burnt. I have also kept up with the descaling cycling and rinsing and never had this issue before. Now after several attempts to rinse, and descale again, my machine only produces burnt coffee. My machine is JUST out the 2 year warranty window so now I am out a Nespresso machine. My heart is broken. I was offered 35 % off another machine but it's a lot of money to shell out when the machine is supposed to last a lot longer than 2 years. Very disappointed :(

One year tops , really?

I really did like the taste and creama from Vertuo plus but after one year and unfortunately one month it is broken. We ran a descale and then the loud, very very loud noise appeared. The warranty was one year so now we have to be offered 35% off a new one! I mean, it should last longer at this price, I think! And now the coffee taste is off. So Very disappointed .

Machine doesn't last long

I've had this machine for about a year and it's stopped working and is defective. When I first looked at this machine in a nespresso store, the salesman said "don't trust the reviews online, there were some issues but they've been fixed and the machine works great now". Well the reviews were correct. This machine has massive problems with longevity. My first nespresso machine lasted me just shy of 5 years. Bought this one thinking the new features were worth it and would last me a good amount of time...i was wrong. Still got a year out of it though and the features of the extra sizes and such are awesome. I'm not sure if i just had one of the older machines that may have been part of the original problem batch, but disappointed in it especially if the people selling it know it may not be a quality product that one would expect and are still pushing it on people.
