i have bought 2 pairs of these so far and i cant complain for the price. i work in warehousing and im on my feet doing slave style labor for hours at a time so i cant expect any shoe to last me very long, but for $30 this is a good value. they typically last me about 6 months and thats because i wear the sole thin from so much walking that they become a slip hazard when it rains. these boots are very comfortable and dont look too bad for being somthing you find at wal-mart. if you work in an office setting then i dont see what complaints you can really have about durability.

Brahma Kyle 2 mens show

PLEASE! Bring back the Brahma K2 \shoe! It was one of the best values available to the hard working middle class people. Why did it go away? Surely it can't be cause it wasn't selling.

Brahma "Kyle" work shoe-boot

I have been buying and wearing these boots for over 10 plus years....They are consistantly high quality....Consistantly comfortable.....consistantly long lasting....they are easy to lace up for a guy with a sore back...The sole insert comes out to allow special fitting sole inserts to go inside. Unlike many shoes that have glued in inserts...These are especially good boots for persons with wide feet. They are all leather and stretch out to your foot in a short amount of time. Although they are comfortable from day one for me....Occassionally I will glue and nail on a heel tap sold in the shoe department at Walmart, and that extends the boot life for me alot.....After I wear these boots for what is comfortable to me I donate them to homeless shelters and I see men walking around wearing the used boot.....the soles last, and I've never had the uppers ever rip or un-seam....THEY are very very good quality......BRAHMA makes extremely good mens footwear...and for extremely affordable prices.....The Kyle is my second favorite boot ever made....Walmart has my other favorite boot, but no longer in non steel I wear the Kyle.......Mr. Fisherman

Comfortable Work Shoe

I am now ordering my 2nd pair of these shoes. I am a contractor working in occupied homes doing warranty service work. I needed a pair of shoes with little or no tread (mud and dirt tracking) are definitely taboo. These shoes fit the bill perfectly. Light colored soles leave no marks on floors or tread marks in carpet. They are light weight and comfortable for all day wear. They are not very slip resistant on wet surfaces but that is not why I purchased them. Made of heavy leather they help protect against injury for the occasional scrape against nails, broken 2x4s etc. I'm purchasing my second pair-what else can I say. They should be here in a few days with Wal-Marts quick home shipping. I'll use them for back up. I intend to buy another pair to put away in a few weeks, just to have them on hand. You never know when a great product will become unavailable.

He loves these workshoes!

My boyfriend loves these workshoes. He is a concrete worker and his feet take a beating. The quality is superb (this is his 2nd pair, the first pair didn't wear out for 18 months.) The comfort and fit are great. He says even compared to expensive workshoes/boots he's worn, these take the cake. Not only does he wear them to work, but, they are so comfortable and stylish, he wears them as his casual everyday shoes too. He didn't need to break them in. The shoelaces are extremely long and lasted the life of the shoes, they did not break or fray. Only downside is the tread can be slippery on wet surfaces. Fits true to size. The color is a deep brown, kind of like hershey's cocoa!

Good Cheap Work Shoe

Shoe has double stitching, nice thick leather, quality laces and seems to have a durable sole. As a light duty all around work shoe and for the price it is above average. Where it lacks is in arch support the arch is more flat footed than arched, you will notice this if you walk in these shoes a lot. While breaking them in I had shin pain. For a cheap leather light duty work shoe it is not bad and worth a shot to see if it is a shoe for you. This will not replace my Timberland hikers or pro work boots in any way shape or form. For around the workshop and yard chores these are ok. Keep in mind everyone's foot is different and that applies to my comments here. I had to order online size 13 and paid a little extra for shipping. After these wear out or I give them away I won't be buying them again.

Cant be beat for the money

This shoe is my second purchase of the same ones, I have that much confidence in them. Very comfortable and durable. The old ones are a bit worn but still usable with a new pair of insoles. For walking and moderate working, its a great shoe. I like the padding also, as I have peripheral vascular disease. I am a heavy fellow, but the support is very good.

excellent boot

These boots are so good that I actually took the time to write a review. They run about a half size large. They last a very long time, I had my other pair for almost 2 years. I work with concrete and really put boots to the test. I am now on my third pair. I have not seen them in the store lately so I ordered them here online, and for $31 you can't beat them.

As a paver im always walking on 300 degree asphalt. I can go through shoes every two weeks. For how much these cost and how long they last, these Boots are a pavers dream. The Red Wing boots like these are at least 5 times the cost and when they wear out and get nasty from the oil you have to stick with them because of there cost to replace. These, when there grimy, oily or just done, its only a trip to Walmart and $30.00. All the guys on my crew use them and would say the same thing. Walmart should call these a paving boot and you would sell a lot more!!
2 months,and they were done.
