Ive had these headphones for about a year now and loooove them. Great battery life. Was able to fly from NC to Canada and not need to worry about charging at all. The audio is great as well. I use these for everything including drowning out people who talk to me while working out. They are the perfect wireless headphones. Everyone needs them in my opinion... top notch audio!!! Id recommend and even buy a second pair just because...

Custom QC35 II
I received my QC 35 II headphones after about 6 weeks on order. The fit and finish of the selected colors met my expectations for the additional cost of the custom headphones. This is my second pair and the first pair of customized headphones. The first pair (silver) still works, but I wanted a specialized color. These work perfectly for my uses which include connecting to my iPhone, iPad, and Mac. There are times when connecting to the mac where a video is already playing and the voice starts out of sync. Restarting the video resyncs the audio and video. This also happens with other Bluetooth headsets so it is not isolated to the QC 35 II. I completely enjoy the perfection of these headsets. I would buy another pair if I didn't already own two.
AMAZING IT HAS BUTTONS vs Beats
So, I am the type of person who misses buttons on electronics.
They is everything tap these days?
THey have great quality buttons that press with ease. Their user experience in the app and pairing the headphones are amazing
They are CRAZY light weight and the noise cancelling is awesome.
I did try my boyfriends model of Beats the over the ear bigger black ones.. I hated them. The single button on the cuff was confusing to me, The rubber on the top pulled at my hair and irritated my scalp.
BUT the Bose have a felt/soft top and I just love these so much. Totally worth the price.
My only two complaints are; I wish when custom you could choose white for the cuffs and under the head & I wish their was an ambient noise option.
Easily Get Lost in Your Audio
The sound is on par with other Bose audio products, which is to say it's exceptional. Well balanced fidelity at any volume further enhanced by excellent noise cancelling technology. No matter who you are, you'll appreciate the fine audio reproduction of this product.
The outer shell is constructed from plastic that feels strong and solid. The ear and headband cushions are really soft and supple. Overall, the headphones are incredibly lightweight. Much lighter than they appear.
On the right earpiece, there is a Micro USB port for charging, player and volume controls, and a power/Bluetooth connection switch. On the left earpiece, there is the Action button that can summon Google Assistant or toggle noise cancellation. The headband is adjustable and allows for a perfect height adjustments to fit any adult-sized head.
A firm-sided carrying case is provided to protect your headphone investment. Inside is a small pocket to secure the included micro USB charging cable and the 3.5mm-to-2.5mm audio cable.
iOS APP & GOOGLE ASSISTANT
The Bose Connect app for iOS provides simple and intuitive access to the headphone's settings. There is also an Android app. Settings for the headphones include connections to different devices, the level of noise cancellation, and updating the firmware.
To use Google Assistant, you must install the dedicated app for that service on your phone. The utility you'll get from this service will depend on your comfort level with sharing just about everything (contacts, calendar, etc) with Google. I allowed full access, and the assistant works really well. Most of the questions I asked got surprisingly quick responses. I checked weather, asked a celebrity's age, and checked a flight status. When I asked for news, I got an NPR quick brief.
USE & PERFORMANCE
The noise cancellation is very, very good. In fact, it is too good in some cases. Where many noise cancelling products are able to cancel droning and repetitive sounds, the QuietComfort 35 II headphones were able silence radio and television audio and even humans talking directly to me. So noise cancellation is truly excellent.
The QuietComfort headphones earn their name. They're very lightweight and comfortable on the head and ears. I was able to listen to music for several hours barely aware they were on me. And the fit is secure. I tested them by jumping and running, and they held firmly and comfortably. That said, the materials probably are not designed for perspiration, but you can be confident they won't go flying if you have to jog up a flight of stairs.
Bose provides a 3.5mm-to-2.5mm audio cable for optional wired listening, and they work as you'd expect. However, when connected by wire to my iPhone, the on-headset buttons no longer controlled playback or volume, adjustments had to be performed on my phone. Once back on a Bluetooth connection, everything immediately began functioning again.
The headphones are easy to recommend. The sound is so complete and pleasing, you can get lost in any audio you choose. The noise cancellation will keep the world away from you, too. They represent an investment, of course. But if you're picky about sound or you're a card-carrying audiophile, you will simply fall in love with these headphones. They are truly that good.
Hard to improve upon!
I received the Bose QC 35 II's a few days ago. The first thing I noticed was the sleek case and how the headphones fold up to fit in a small area. That makes it nice for travel!
I was surprised Bose came out with a second generation of the QC 35 headphones already. Bose added a Google assistant button on the left ear cup for summoning google assistant. So, on the right ear cup you've got the button for Siri and on the left, you've got Google assistant. I've never used google assistant so when I got the headphones I downloaded the google assistant app and gave it a try. I have to say she responds much faster than Siri does but I haven't got the chance to see all that she will do yet but it seems promising.
The fit and comfort is second to none! I've owned many top brands of headphones and the QC 35's are the most comfortable I've ever worn. I've got slightly big ears and there is plenty of room!I can wear these all day!
The sound is excellent. I've played music in bands most of my life and listened to music for 45 years so I know when a headphone or earbud sounds good and when it doesn't and these sound quite good for Bluetooth and they seem to be louder than the first generation of the QC 35's which made me very happy. I like to jam sometimes so I want them loud!
I got the flat black version and they look sleek, classy and modern. Very nice looking headphones that I'm proud to wear anywhere. The cups have big markings inside the ear cup to immediately tell which way to put them on when you pick them up. I've had some brands that have a tiny little “L” or “R” that you can barely see.
The buttons are perfectly placed. No searching needed. Just reach up your hand and they are right there. Easy to find and easy to use.
I've heard some people complain that Bluetooth headphones can't sound good because you lose some of the signal when using Bluetooth but I have to disagree. Bluetooth has came a long way and the QC 35's second gen headphones sound very very good. Yes, there may be some high dollar boutique hand made headphones that might sound a little better but you have to have a cord and an amplifier with those. Who wants that? I want portability with no wires to get tangled up in or caught on things and Bose has come close to the perfect all around headphone with these. I highly recommend them!
