Nothing special about it except it's price.

I've had this bike for about a year now - bought it because I could use 'bill me later', which is now part of 'Paypal' . I paid 50% on the first payment and then spread the remaining half over the next 5 months. First, it's really rated for 400 lbs, not 300 lbs as shown on the web page. It is expensive, but once you get past 300 lbs capacity, all brands become expensive, and almost all are noticeably more expensive then this bike. Pros : Heavy duty and easily handled me at 387 lbs (now I'm at 308 lbs). Computer console is easy to use. The documentation shows that the console can do mph or km/hr, but the console also shows how fast you are peddling in rpm's. Cons : Price is high - but much better than anything else I could find rated at 400 lbs, Not the easiest thing to put together and the instructions are not good - take it slow and double check what you're doing . - it's definitely not all that great for some who isn't mechanically inclined like me. Console is not back-lit, so you can't read it in low light levels. Console plastic has a cheap feel to it - I expected better for the price. I find the seat to be uncomfortable - I use a folded up fleece blanket as padding and it still bothers me - I last about 30 mins before I stop. Even my son at 150 lbs doesn't like the seat. I only recommend it for someone who weighs a lot, like me, only because there really isn't any other options that are affordable for a normal house hold. If you're not mechanically inclined, assembly will be a bit of a challenge. The seat will probably be uncomfortable without cushioning. I'm still undecided if I will switch to a new bike once I get much lighter - specifically because of the seat. Other wise it's just an exercise - I get it on it and peddle away until the seat gets too uncomfortable for me. I usually either do 2 sessions at 20 minutes a night, or two 30 min sessions.
