Cheapest BEST TASTING Protein Powder!

I have been using this for YEARS. I just need something good enough to prevent muscle atrophy after working out. I cannot justify paying as much as a cellphone bill just for fancy brand name protein.

Ive been using Optimum Nutrition 100% Whey Gold Standard and while its a good product the after taste was nauseating and its a bit more pricey. I got the Body Fortress powder in Cookies n Cream because I've heard so many good things about it. It's cheap and it mixes well with water whether your using a spoon, a blender ball, or a blender. It doesn't exactly taste like cookies and cream but it's pretty good. I usually add water, 2 scoops, and ice to my blender; its sweet so there's no need to use a sweetener. I'd give it an 8.5 out of 10 for taste. I haven't experienced the yucky after taste that is common with most protein powders. Its cheap, not many carbs, and a good amount of protein. I use it after workouts or as a meal replacement sometimes. I know its primary purpose isn't as a meal replacement but it keeps me full for hours and I always make sure that I eat a good clean dinner and drink lots of water. So far so good.

You'll find out that there are many snobs when it comes to asking about protein powders, but why spend more money for the same thing. This is an isolate whey protein powder that your body will absorb quick plus there is also creatine already in it so you won't need to by another bottle a creatine to supplement unless you're just really lifting out the max.

The taste is really awesome! What I do Is add two scoops of Whey to 4oz. of non dairy creamer, 3 to 4oz. of water, and add two tbs. of peanut butter. Kinda tastes like whip cream! HIGHLY Recommend this!

Very good product. Provides great value because it has creatine and Glutamine so I don't have to purchase those supplements. The taste is nothing like cookies and cream, more like chocolate but I don't care because it tastes good, way better than the other stuff I've used. Much cheaper per gram of protein than other powders. A+++

  • A. Yes! The protein grams are 52 but that's for 2 scoops which would be a HUGE shake. I make it with 4 ice cubes, 6 oz of water and 1 scoop of powder so I'm only getting 26 g of protein instead of 52 grams. That way I won't "bulk up" like a man.

  • A. Women don't need the amount of protein men do, unless you're really attempting to get muscular and big. You shouldn't bulk up if you keep active and working, but taking the full 52 grams of protein is for people who are trying to build mass. I'd just do the one scoop per serving if you're looking to tone. The body only needs about 20 grams of protein isolate to recover. All whey protein is safe for both male and female. Watch the fat burners though. Some can cause women to grow facial hair and such. That's where the catch is with some of the supplements out there.

  • A. yes, but it is a standard that soy protein is for women and whey is for men. If I were you I would find a soy protein, it caters to womens bodies better.

  • A. All of mine have so far (about 9 containers) Anyway, just google a gram to tablespoon (or other unit of measure) converter to figure it out. Real examples: 33g scoop size = 2.318 Tablespoons OR 6.955 teaspoons OR 0.144 cup (little bit more than half a quarter cup) The 33g serving size is for the VANILLA flavored product.

  • A. Yes, it does. Take a large serving spoon and push it into the powder. You will feel the scoop below the surface and can lift it to the surface with the spoon. If this doesn't work for you(though it should) the size of a serving is 34 grams or 1.2 ounces.

  • A. Yes, all protein tubs come with their own scoops, otherwise you wouldn't know how to measure it out (unless your a chef and have those measuring cups at your disposal). I'd take it back to the store and replace it for a new one. Someone slept on the job at the plant.
