There is a scratch on the wood on the front facing part of the headboard. I had to color it in with a sharpie. while having lots of options for where to hook it up to the metal bed frame I have, it didn't have one in the exact right place, so I had to either drill new holes, or put cardboard under the legs of the headboard. I went with cardboard. It is wobbly....and so I had to put pads behind it so it wouldn't bonk against the wall every time I turn over in bed. It is all pressboard--NOT REAL WOOD. I have to make sure it sits against a wall, so no one sees the pressboard backing. That is fine for my room set up, but wouldn't work in a bigger room where one might want to be artsy with decorating. Overalll the look of it is what I wanted (tho the "cherry cinnamon" is DARKER than it said it would be) and it works for my needs--especially for the price. Next time, I'll save up my money to get a better one...maybe with a full frame and completely finished so that I can feel more secure in it and put it anywhere.

Like yourself, I was skeptical for the price. Headboards at furniture stores cost a minimum of $150 for decent quality. This is well worth the price. I was expecting something flimsy or some kind of cork material that wouldn't last too long. However, this is a solid piece of furniture, very sturdy, and well worth a lot more than the price.
