I was so excited when I got this Spice that I took the seal off and licked it- it looked and smelled that good! I couldn't wait to make something, anything with it. Our first taste was shrimp fajitas. I sliced peppers and onions, then cooked them with large shrimp, sprinkled with Blackstone Taco and Fajita Seasoning. I made tacos next, using hamburger with Blackstone Taco and Fajita Seasoning, plus shredded lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, and sour cream. This week, we had chicken fajitas, with Blackstone Taco and Fajita Seasoning, plus peppers and onions, with sour cream on warm tortillas. I love the fresh spice taste the Blackstone Seasoning imparts on whatever I use it on. I have so many ideas for using this seasoning that I am going to have to get another jar! Very good seasoning!

I made chicken fajitas with this seasoning tonight and was it delicious! Simple easy dinner made in less than 30 minutes. I used a griddle I put a little olive oil it and sprinkled this seasoning on my chicken, while it was cooking I cut up some peppers and onion and sautéed them in a pan and done! I did sprinkle some more seasoning on my chicken near the end because I didn't use enough to begin so after taste testing I decided to add more and it was perfect. I would say I used about a tablespoon for 3 chicken breasts.
Tacos & Fajitas all day long!
Very pleased with this taco and Fajita seasoning. Blackstone definitely got it right and it not only smells like a fiesta with tacos every time I use this spice, it tastes just like it too. This seasoning is definitely not only for tacos and fajitas. I have now used this on eggs, put in a crockpot, put on fish, and of course made tacos! Its not too spicy, but it does have a nice flavor. It spices up the dish enough to taste that taco taste, but not too much to where you have to drink a gallon of water afterwards. Personally, you dont have to use to much to get a good taste, but really there's not limit in my book. This Blackstone Taco and Fajita seasoning is definitely very versatile and I can see using this spice for a very long time. I highly reccomend, even if you aren't having tacos, it can taste like you are!
Tacos & fajitas are a weekly favorite at my home (sometimes, twice a week if I'm lucky!), but I had actually never tried making them using meat from the grill before! Since we also just happen to love grilled meats, I knew I had to give this Blackstone Taco & Fajita Seasoning a try! Blackstone was a new brand to me, but I'm always interested in trying out new brands and hoping to find new favorites! The bottle is a decent 6.2oz size and I was happy with the ingredients list of just 6 simple spices and an anti-caking agent. It contains NO MSG, which is a huge plus for me! While the lack of directions on the bottle was a little confusing (I'm used to packets of taco & fajita seasonings I have to mix with a small amount of water then mix into meat), this mix, I could only assume, was to be sprinkled as is, over your meat before grilling. The scent was very aromatic and I could definitely smell hints of the different spices! We grilled up chicken and ended up making homemade taquitos! They came out excellent! Everyone loved the seasoning! It was flavorful and had just the tiniest hint of heat without really being "spicy" or "hot"! We already can't wait to grill up some more meat using this seasoning and I'm happy it gives me more excuses to make tacos!
